Clarendon Animal Care South Arlington

This was our first Vet visit after having adopted Kobe 1 week ago. Everyone at the Clarendon Animal Care S Arlington made the process so easy and got my nervous dog super comfortable. Dr. Lockhart was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions while still examining and paying attention to my pup. Kiara G, who worked alongside Dr. Lockhart, was kind and knew exactly how to calm Kobe and make me feel comfortable. She was happy to explain things to me multiple times and I left super happy. And Kobe is loving her new ball!

I just had the best first vet experience at CAC South. This is truly a fear free office. The moment I walked in and saw the welcome sign they made for my Binx, I knew I had found the perfect office. Dr. Lockhart and all the amazing staff were so compassionate and thoughtful. They were so thorough with Binx to rule out a medical emergency and were able to treat my kitto with antibiotics vs emergency surgery. I walked in thinking I may not leave with my kitty, but instead walked out knowing I found my forever vet.

If you have a reactive or fearful dog, CAC is a fantastic choice. All of the staff does a wonderful job supporting anxious pets and their owners. They’ve been able to use a variety of tools, treats, and techniques to give my own pup top-quality care while minimizing stress to her. Dr. Taylor is especially great, always dedicating plenty of time and personalized attention to us.

They’re always awesome at Clarendon Animal Care. I am so appreciative of how lovely and thoughtful they were when I lost my previous pet. I’m especially grateful for all of the little details like dimmed lighting in the lobby, a note to inform others to be respectful, a follow up note to me, and so much more. That was a terrible day for me but they gave me positive memories to look back on which I’ll be forever grateful for. Today, with my current pet, Jessica was my tech and she was awesome. Super helpful, kind, calm, and on top of everything. We had a difficult suture removal situation that was caused by another clinic, and she made sure my cat had the right people involved and that everything was handled smoothly. She was very sweet with my cat & took the time to answer all my questions. Dr. Cropp, Dr. Taylor, and Dr. Lockhart all stepped in to help and worked together to keep him comfortable and get it done safely. Everyone was calm and efficient. Really solid experience overall.

Thank you clarendon animal care for always taking the best care of our sweet (and spicy) Piña! Lina and Dr. Taylor did an amazing job at her most recent checkup. We always feel like she is in the best hands with yall! The price is always worth it to know your pet is in the gentlest of hands.

CAC was recommended by friends so we took our cat for her first exam appt in several years. Dr. Taylor and Kiara were so kind and sweet with her, and took the time to listen thoroughly to learn about our pet and explain answers to any questions we had! the staff is all very helpful and welcoming, sending thorough explanations and requesting info ahead of the appt. The rooms are comfortable for the pets and she was happy to get treats throughout the exam/vaccines, didn’t even flinch! Very transparent about pricing throughout the appt too. Thanks CAC!

I absolutely love CAC South! it is by far the best animal hospital I’ve been to. Even after moving 30 minutes away, I continue to bring my dog here because the care is truly unmatched. Dr. Smith is my dog’s primary veterinarian, and she is exceptional. She is incredibly knowledgeable, clearly passionate about what she does, and wonderful with my large Rottweiler. She always takes the time to thoroughly explain examinations, procedures, and medications, and she consistently prioritizes the most cost-effective options first. We truly enjoy coming in to see her! We also had the opportunity to see Dr. Pike for a last-minute sick visit, and she was just as amazing. She explained everything in detail and clearly outlined the reasoning behind each treatment recommendation. What I appreciate most is that the team never pressures you into decisions, instead, they provide a complete picture so you can make informed choices for your pet. The technicians are fantastic and always so good with my Rottie, especially when drawing labs or taking his history. The front desk staff is welcoming and efficient, and the clinic itself is very clean and inviting. Both times my dog needed a sick visit, they were able to fit us in last minute, which I truly appreciate. It is one of the more expensive animal hospitals I have been to but it truly is worth it with the level of care that is provided. Highly recommend CAC South!
