Urgent Animal Care of Arlington

I was seen within 20 minutes of calling them. They have an easy to use app that shows where you’re at in line. I cannot say enough good things about all who work at Urgent Animal Care of Arlington. From the minute you walk in, having a separate room, it was all wonderful! Provided some very useful advice for a first time dog 🐶 owner.

I took my cat to Urgent Animal Care of Arlington today. We had a wonderful experience! Everyone on the staff was so kind and caring toward my cat. Dr. Gordon, Alexia, Michelle and Ellen are empathetic, through, and gentle and kept us informed of every step of the process during our appointment. The office and exam rooms were clean and had everything necessary to keep pets and parents comfortable. I would definitely recommend this urgent care for anyone who wants their pet helped in a loving and kind manner.

I had to take my Siberian Husky here on a Thursday morning after her eye began swelling up randomly. She hates the vet and I usually have to give her a double dose of Trazadone before going, but we had a wonderful experience at Urgent Animal Care of Arlington even without drugs. Brittany (a fellow husky mom <3) and Dr. O'Keefe were kind and patient and made sure my sweet girl was as comfortable as possible while they were poking around in her eye. They both clearly and easily explained the routine process they would follow and the tests they would perform so I was at ease, which made my girl at ease. The examination room was also clean, comfortable, and soothing, and since Brittany and Dr. O'Keefe knew that my girl hates the vet, they performed the tests in the examination room with me instead of taking her to the scary back office. It's very clear that Urgent Care makes the comfort of their patients a top priority. The total cost of the visit, which included a physical examination and three eye tests, was $580, which to me seemed reasonable considering the quality of care my girl received. I was so impressed with the quality of care and overall professionalism of this outstanding animal care service. From being warmly welcomed by Alexia to Dr. Abato’s thorough examination of my cat and finally informative follow through by vet tech Josh, I highly recommend this care center. I usually go to NOVA Cat Clinic but they were not available. I will return to this location again. They know what they do and they do it with caring customer attention.Your pets will thank you. They are the best!

I wish I could give this establishment ten stars. Two days before we were scheduled to travel, I had to bring my dog in for a suspected ear infection. I was able to book a same-day appointment online with ease. We arrived early and were seen almost immediately. Declan and Megan, the vet techs who assisted us, could not have been friendlier. My dog was a bit standoffish, but they were incredibly patient and kind with him. Dr. Gloor was fantastic—she even sat on the floor with him during his exam and was so gentle and attentive. She was accompanied by an intern who was also very kind and professional. Checkout and payment were handled right in the spacious, comfortable exam room, which made the entire visit feel calm and efficient. From start to finish, we were in and out in under an hour, and the charge was very reasonable for urgent care. Most importantly, we were able to get the medication he needed so he could travel comfortably—without spending half a day waiting to be seen. I truly wish my regular vet office were this fast and efficient. I cannot recommend this clinic highly enough for urgent pet care. Had an extremely wonderful experience here with my dog Brownie! I found her coughing one day and brought her to the urgent care thinking it might be something choking her. I called on my way and was greeted by a technician once I parked to quickly evaluate her life signals. Once realized she’s not in danger, the doctors assessed and concluded its kennel cough. Everyone, from the assistant to the doctor were super friendly and patient! We came back later several days as her cough didn’t went away. Instead of over treating her using antibiotics like I suggested, doctor explained all the reason why she doesn’t need antibiotics or x ray right now, and refilled our cough tablets without charging a full visit fee. The entire experience is very positive with kind,supportive, knowledgeable staff. Definitely recommend it for anyone!

I arrived absolutely panicked about my sweet dog. I was greeted at the front door. They took my Olive to the back and did a quick examination. I was given an update and told the doctor would come see us and do another exam. The doctor came in explained what was happening and how we’d proceed. I felt such a sense of relief. The staff truly rallied around me and my girl and I was able to take her home. I wholeheartedly recommend.
