Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic

I called this clinic in a devastating time of need. My cat’s eye ruptured over the weekend and I was an emotional mess. I called and spoke to Kat. She was wonderful. She was so kind and empathetic towards me and my cat’s situation. She went above and beyond to get us in and get estimates. Unfortunately I live about 5 hours away and found out my regular vet could remove his eye, so I ended up going to my vet due to distance. I cannot give enough thank you’s to Kat and her love and support towards a pet owner and a pet she had never met before. My cat Cyrus is my world, and she recognized that instantly. I will forever be grateful to her and this clinic. Thank you so much for easing my anxiety and being there for me! That is an experience I will never forget and one I will consider if I ever need a second opinion or a new vet. P.s. I hope she sees this review as I have added pictures of him so she can see my sweet boy…well before his eye ruptured and one when it did.

I adopted a rescue 2 weeks ago and it’s been overwhelming (for both of us!) Everyone we encountered at apple valley was so friendly and kind and helped calm me and daisy down with their knowledge and expertise and kindness. 11/10, recommend!

Fantastic Vet visit. My puppy has no reason to fear a clinic when her back patio is the clinic! Dr. Jain was great with my new girl and informative for me. I’ve already booked the next two appointments. They’re just that good!

Everyone is so kind and helpful here. I had my cat for a regular exam and rabies shot, and he was super nervous and had an accident. They treated him extra gently, took the pee pad out of his carrier for me, got him cleaned up, and gave me a new pee pad for his carrier for the ride home. Also prescribed some pre-vet anxiety med to make his next time easier on him, which I really appreciated.

They were wonderful when I brought in my cat gunther suffering from pancreatitis, they spent a lot of time with me and sent me home with food and medicine for him, he is feeling much better, they made me feel much better. Thank you again!!

I took my 8 puppies in for their first vaccines with my parents. The staff was so fun, professional and caring with the puppies. All their information was emailed to me in perfect time. I am so happy that Eleanor, her pups and I are able to be part of the Apple Valley Veterinarian clientele 💙🐾🩷

I cannot say enough good things about Apple Valley Veterinary Clinic, Dr. Carrie Herrick, and the reception staff. I was extremely anxious about my FIV+ cat needing anesthesia and likely extensive dental surgery/extractions, and after consulting with two veterinary options, I am incredibly grateful I chose Apple Valley. Even before becoming an established client, the receptionists worked hard to get him seen same-day because of how severe his condition was. They were compassionate, responsive, and genuinely cared. They also helped get his surgery scheduled sooner than his regular clinic was able to. One of the biggest reasons I chose Dr. Herrick was because of her experience with FIV+ cats and the way she approaches care. You can tell she is constantly researching and staying informed to provide the best possible treatment options. I also appreciated that she was both the veterinarian examining him and the veterinarian performing the surgery. During the exam, she was able to thoroughly explain the possible findings, likely outcomes, and what she would do depending on what she saw once she got into his mouth. The estimate clearly reflected those possibilities and helped me feel informed and prepared instead of surprised later. Despite him ultimately needing a full mouth extraction, the final cost was not even at the high end of the estimate, which I appreciated greatly. His recovery has honestly exceeded expectations already, and I truly believe choosing Apple Valley was the right decision. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, knowledgeable, and invested in his care. I’m incredibly grateful to the entire team.
