I took my cat Galleta here a couple months ago because his primary vet suggested a second opinion from an Ophthalmologist to examine his eye. Dr. Stacy Andrew diagnosed his condition as Entropion, we came up with a plan on how to treat his condition and was able to get surgey for my cat. The staff and Veterinarian's are absolutely amazing and helped treat Galleta's Entropion. He is able to open his eye again \(^_^)/

I brought my dog, Brick, to see Dr. McDougall to evaluate a fast-growing mass on his hip. Unfortunately, he has soft tissue sarcoma that would take extensive surgery, radiation and chemotherapy to treat. I cannot afford his treatment, and I am heartbroken 😭. However, I would like others to know that this is a great place with caring staff. I was very impressed by everyone from the reception desk to the doctor and assistant in the back. I highly recommend this animal hospital.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Our English Bulldog has had a lot of leg issues (CCL repair/TPLO) and VSGA was THE BEST!! We previously went to a general vet, then UGA, but now that we found VSGA we won't go anywhere else for surgery! They were quick/easy to get her in on the schedule, everyone working there was very kind and helpful (even getting my dog in the car after surgery since I can't lift her), the pricing was reasonable (cheaper than UGA), and the doctor was very calm, personable, and informative - he really took his time with us! Best of all: everything went so smoothly and she is doing great!

Our beloved Fidget got a TPLO done by Dr. Cross, assisted by the incredible vet tech AJ. We're in week 2 of recovery, and we are so amazed by how quickly her movement has improved! AJ and Dr. Cross provided exceptional, highly communicative care. They texted us throughout the day of her procedure and later that week to check in as we started the recovery process. We haven't had to reach out to VSGA with any follow-up questions, but we know that they're highly available and eager to address any worries that could arise. They were so sweet to our dog and to us! The pricing of the procedure was very fair for the Atlanta area, particularly given the exceptional care. While we hope to never have to get surgery again, we'd certainly return to VSGA in a heartbeat.

Dr. Cross and his team are incredible! My dog, Boss, had to get surgery on both his back legs, and he has recovered so incredibly well. They also gave him leg sleeves (I called them his pants), instead of the cone, and this was a GAME CHANGER! The team did such a good job communicating what to expect and how to care for my little guy as he healed. I really appreciate that I was sent to Dr. Cross's office to have this done. I think it made a world of a difference.

We brought our bestest boy Grover in for a mass that was found on his liver after his bloodwork came back showing an issue before his dental cleaning. I can’t say enough good things about the staff at VSGA. They are all very warm and genuinely kind animal lovers and it shows. I knew we were in good hands from that first phone call making the appointment for the consultation. Dr. Lori MacDougall was very thorough when going over the surgical plan for Grover in language that was easy to understand. It was very clear to us that she was exactly who we needed to be taking care of our boy during a very stressful time. Her assistant was wonderful too (I was very stressed and don’t remember her name). We received a text letting us know when Grover was going in for surgery, and she called after to let us know the details of the procedure and that he was doing well. We picked him up the next day and then waited for the biopsy results. Dr. MacDougall was kind enough to text us the results on a Sunday as well as email the pathology report. ALL CLEAR! Woohoo!

Dr Stacy Andrew and team is amazing!!! I visited another specialist who was quick to recommend surgery…..expensive surgery. Dr Andrew held a treatment course instead and babies eyes have stayed consistent vs getting worse. They give options, are honest and incredibly trustworthy. I would take all my babies here and go with whatever course of treatment was recommended after my visit and interactions. Dr Andrew is the best!!
