North Main Animal Hospital

I just wanted to stop by and review the most amazing people that I’ve ever dealt with. The staff here are so incredibly sincere and attentive to your pets needs.THEY ACTUALLY CARE. This has been my vet for 3 1/2 years since I’ve owned my dachshund and I trust them with my dog’s life. My dog is currently battling an IVDD issue (the most traumatizing experience of my pet parenthood). Before going in, I knew that surgery wasn’t on the table due to the cost. They were able to move their busy schedule on a busy Saturday to have him seen, even after telling me that they didn’t have any availability. After expressing to them that surgery wasn’t a viable option due to the cost, they provided other additional options for him. They did a thorough check on his condition and also recommended that I give UGA ER a visit to see their neurologist for the possibility of having his surgery there, that it may be a better financial option for my end. Upon checking out, they did not charge me a dime for today’s visit. Instead, I was told that they just want my dog to be better. I CANNOT TELL YOU HOW MUCH I APPRECIATE YOU ALL! 🥹 If you need a trustworthy vet that puts your little ones first, THEY ARE IT! It’s not the money they care about, it’s your pets life they put first. You bring faith back into humanity, thank you. ❤️

Our big boy Sam got a nasty ear infection and needed fast help. We aren’t regular patients of North Main Animal Hospital but they were so nice to get us in the same day, and took care of his ears in less than 30 minutes. The staff and the doctors were excellent - highly recommended!

As I write this review, I am holding back tears; overwhelmed with emotion. From the moment I met Dr. Bishop 16 years ago, I knew he would forever be Chester’s only veterinarian. He was always authentically kind, patient and understanding. I was overjoyed when he started his own practice and could tell Chester loved him so much. My dog definitely had the upper hand with me. Yet, he always managed to be on his best behavior with Dr. Bishop. I would describe the practice as quaint and welcoming and the staff as accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, after a lifetime of little more than an occasional ear infection, Chester took ill in April and was unable to recover. I knew that when it came time to make a decision Dr. Bishop was literally the only person in the world, I wanted to help me through such a difficult decision. He was there for me and he took care of Chester in the best way possible. I will forever be grateful for his kindness through the years.

I brought my dog Max in for his first visit to North Main Animal Hospital and had an excellent experience. The team was welcoming, professional, and took the time to thoroughly work him up and answer all my questions. You can tell they truly care about the animals and their owners. Highly recommend—Max is in great hands

Finally! I have found my vet home! I finally feel like we have a path to resolving persistent issues for our Frenchie. Dr. Bishop and staff are ah-mazing. Knowledgeable, kind, and take the time time to understand what is happening holistically.

My husband and I were moving out of the country and needed health certificates for our two greyhounds for entry into the new country. We had never used the North Main before but there are very few vets in the area that are able to supply the correct paperwork for international travel. We called several vets approximately six weeks before our departure but for one reason or another, they were unable schedule an appointment. No one really gave us a direct response or had a point person that was hardly available. We received several promises for returned calls that never came or came well after the fact. When we contacted North Main Animal Hospital, we were able to book an appointment immediately and without hesitation. The staff was incredibly attentive, and understood the need for everything to be correct. No one wants to be denied entry upon arrival in a foreign country! Dr. Di Cicco was more than well-versed in completing the paperwork correctly. She understood all the nuances required to get through USDA approval the first time. We visited North Main on Friday and had our paperwork back from the USDA Monday morning. Impeccable turnaround time and fabulous service! If we were staying in the United States, we would be switching to North Main Animal Hospital as our permanent vet services provider.

North Main is a fantastic vet practice. Dr. Bishop has always been amazing over the years and we wouldn’t think of leaving! They give excellent care to our Dog and other pets over the years. You always can feel that they care about your pet and you!
