We’ve been taking our dogs to Akron Peninsula since 1992. No matter it’s regular checkups, an emergency, scheduled surgery or concerns that could be addressed by a phone call, Dr, McFadden and Dr. Jahnke , and Dr. Mann, before he retired, have been the most caring, knowledgeable and compassionate people to work with. The staff is equally attentive. We can’t imagine any better veterinary care.

I have been going to this vet office for over 20 years. I was treated extremely harsh today. I had an exceptionally hard time getting my cats into the car to today. I was late and they refused to see me. No understanding on their part and they didn’t care at all about me or my animals. They only cared about their schedule. I always thought that the receptionist was rude but today she was mean and didn’t care about the animals or me. For someone who has been going there for such a long time I was treated very badly. The receptionist is cold and hard hearted. She should be fired. Dr. Scott showed no compassion for me or my animals today. I have 2 cats that only leave the house once a year to go to the vet. If you have cats you will understand that cats can be unpredictable. Things did not go as planned. I have paid a lot of money to this place to be treated so badly and without compassion.

Both of my dogs go here and see Dr. Scott! He is so kind and welcoming. He makes you feel very comfortable and is always gentle with my dogs! I hate when vets and doctors are rude and he’s the opposite! Great guy and great vet! Will continue coming here and it’s much cheaper than my last vet and the appointments are always so quick!

Dr. Scott and staff have taken care of our two Chihuahuas for over a decade. They are compassionate and patient - even into their senior years. We appreciate how they always strive to reduce stress and make our pups comfortable during appointments.

The staff are kind, professional, PATIENT, helpful and professional. Office was clean and well organized (they try to schedule so there is zero congestion in the waiting room) The Doctor and his Assistant were thorough, compassionate and gentle with my Fur babies.

We love our vet. Dr McFadden and the vet techs are absolutely wonderful.

Dr. Scott handled my cat very gently, they comforted him and explained everything in great detail. (he's doing great btw) The best vet I've been to.
