Terrible customer service and pricing. Told me I needed $200 worth of blood tests for my 1 year old cat along with $450-$550 worth of dental care. When I called and inquired about the necessity of the blood tests, I was told that my cat would potentially die under anesthesia without the tests. When I got a second opinion I was estimated over HALF of what they originally estimated me. They also forced me to purchase medicine and a vaccine that wasn’t necessary for my cat. Additionally, the receptionist I talked to was incredibly rude and dismissive. Did not care about my concerns and was not transparent with me. It sounded like I was talking to a 16 year old teenage girl with an attitude problem. I waited over an hour after my scheduled appointment time to be seen by an actual vet. They also did not listen to my concerns of my cat constantly sneezing and having a runny nose. I would never recommend this clinic to anyone. They just do not care.

We made an appointment for our old sick dog to be seen and laid to rest. The staff was overwhelmingly supportive, empathetic, and accommodating. They gave us and our old friend so much grace and comfort in what was one of our hardest moments. I cannot recommend this team enough.

We recently adopted a Belgian malinois and anyone who knows this breed knows they can be high strung and intimidating. Upon walking in, the presence of the vet techs welcoming her made her feel calm and right at home. We truly had such a positive experience. We feel so fortunate Dr. Jacobson is right in our neighborhood and will be our vet for our dog. Extremely knowledgeable and kind. All the staff were friendly and patient. If you live in Akron or the area, I highly recommend! Also, I noticed people noting the costs. This is the by far most affordable vet I’ve been to in the Akron area. The $65 "fee" simply gets applied to your services/deducted from the cost of your visit (if that clears up anyone’s confusion). Again, nothing but positive things to say! Thanks for taking such great care of our dog (and likely our cats in the future)!

I have a diabetic cat (Lance) and my Vet was out of town. I called Highland Vet Clinic, and they set me up with an appointment and were very helpful in my time of need! I would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a knowledgeable, caring pet clinic! I found them to be very reasonably priced. We have 5 dogs and 2 cats and with Lance being diabetic we are at the Vet's office quite often.

We moved to Cleveland but we still drive down to take our pets here. Wonderful people, great doctors - love them!

My Favorite Veterinary Clinic. The Staff members are awesome and the Vet is GREAT with my LARGE dog that "wasn't going to be over 45lbs."
