VCA Woodland BA reached out the Monday after we adopted "Barney," a handsome Maltese from the local SPCA. A four year-old rescue who’s proved to be a great companion for my widowed mom. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed—Rose greeted us by name at the door, even though this was our first visit. The communication was excellent, and the clinic was clean, organized, and calm. Small details like the poster welcome heart with WiFi info only adds to the accolades. Dr. McKeAigg joined us quickly (even though we arrived 15 minutes early) and was patient, gentle, and thorough. The assistant followed up with instructions and to see if there any questions. We never felt rushed. Barney clearly felt safe and cared for. (The handicap parking just a few feet from the entrance was a plus!) Walk-in to exit took 40-45 minutes. Looks like Barney’s officially found his new veterinary home.

My man and I rescued a kitten from his job back towards the end of July. We brought her in the following week to have her checked on.. mainly cause she wasn’t pooping and it worried me. The Dr and her assistant were so sweet and gentle with her. They gave her a welcome gift with a bunch of new kitten essentials, which was so very appreciated. I have never raised a kitten before so this was all new to me. Unfortunately, I can’t bring my cats into the Vet as often as I would like, but when I can.. it will be here no doubt. Highly recommended!! Here’s an updated picture of Cleo aka "Bean". Hard to get good pictures of her cause she is on the move non-stop!

All I can say is take your animal here. I have a three year old kitty who ended up getting pyometra. As a young 20 year old girl I was just in shambles over my kitty and worried I wasn’t going to be able to cover the cost of things while wanting the best care possible for her. God bless them, they worked with me on pricing and Dr. Martin and Kristi were absolutely heaven sent and I just couldn’t be more grateful I went here. Such loving, kind, and understanding people. Don’t second guess taking your pet here. I feel very blessed today.

My Max had the best possible care at VCA. His sickness came on fast. They directed me in the necessary steps I needed to take. He was diagnosed with melanoma cancer. They were very informative and I had many questions they answered promptly to every one of them. Unfortunately, with a very heavy heart, we felt it best to let him cross the rainbow bridge. He was in a lot of pain and we managed that till the end. Of course, my heart is shattered, but I know he received the best care possible from VCA. Thank you to all the staff for putting up with me and for taking the best care for Max. ❤️❤️

Every single person we interacted with here was amazing. Dr. Martin explains everything thoroughly, listens, and answers questions. Kristi is fantastic, she helped me carry my baby and pup out to the car. Great experience and will be back!

I am just absolutely blown away. We had an emergency early Thursday afternoon. I left work early to rush my little man, Rogue, to the vet. At the time, we weren’t sure he would be coming back home. They got us in immediately and thanks to their knowledge, compassion and dedication, our baby was feeling himself in less than 24 hours. Dr. Martin and the rest of the staff took amazing care of him. They communicated with me throughout the day, calling with updates and sending me photos of Rogue, that really helped me calm down and not worry so much. Special thanks to Rogue’s new best friend, Kristi! I truly believe that she loves him just as much as he loves her. I couldn’t help tearing up when I dropped him off for a follow up this morning. Rogue was so happy to see her, I knew he was in great hands! I’ve never seen a dog excited to be at the vet like he was. When I picked him up, she showed me more photos that she had taken and was telling me how his day was and how "everyone just fell in love with him." I’m telling you, they treated my baby like family and you can’t ask for much more than that. 💞 It was a little pricey, but absolutely worth every penny. We will not be going anywhere else!
