Finally, a local vet that is part of our community here. She-Cassie-is compassionate, kind but also professional, knowledgeable and realistic. She conferred with us before just ordering tests without asking. It was a great first time experience. We had been to another practice and ended up with 3different vets in 3yrs. Veterinarian practices have become a cash cow for investors. They build the facility, and then hire "Travel vets" to anchor the practice. The vets we had were fine-just never here very long. Plus they tend to be expensive and include tests that may not be necessary. So, come to Sandy Paws for a great experience and great doctor.
I cannot say enough about Dr Mitlitsky. She saved our boxer. After surgery Dr Mitlitsky called every day and even texted on Sunday. She truly cares about the animals she treats. She is very knowledgeable, honest, and so kind. I have been to several vets in the area and can truly say Sandy Paws is the BEST! We are happy and proud to be a part o the Sandy Paws Family.
Small, but super great staff and dmv. Tubers was awesome. I was a nervous Nellie for the staffs safety with my cat who is fully loaded and nips. The whole team, amazing!! Helped me get in with the carrier which held my wild panther??? Cat. Not even a challenge for them!! Great DVM ms Cassie!! They got me for life!!
We love everyone at Sandy Paws! We are fairly new patients and we feel so comfortable with our two girls going to this office. Layla recently had dental surgery, directions were clear and concise. I had a post surgical concern, called, got a same day appointment and got the medication she needed! Both Layla and Kash walk through the doors with excitement every time. Doctor Cassie and her team show my girls true compassionate care from the moment we walk in until we walk out. Not to mention the follow up phone calls to ensure they're doing well! 10/10 recommend!
I couldn't be happier with my first experience with this office! My 15 year old chihuahua got into a minor scuffle with his furry brother and wound up with an infected wound. Everyone was so friendly and efficient from start to finish; from the sweet ladies at the front desk to Christyn, the Vet Tech, to Dr. Cassie, who is also the owner of the clinic. I'm so grateful to have found this place! Thank you for treating my baby with such great care! I'll definitely be using this practice for both of my doggies from now on. Highly recommend! 💖🐾
I love sandy paws!! Everyone here has been amazing! They listen, take lots of notes, give lots of love to my cats, and have taken overall great care of my babies! Bear was a little scared at first, but he loved his doctors and techs yesterday 💞 I couldn’t recommend enough!
I noticed a few weeks ago an alarming bump on my babies face and immediately called them and they got me in first thing the next morning. They were able to tell, even with his unwillingness to show, that his teeth had caused it. Initially, I was relieved it wasn’t something worse, but they gave him medicine and made a follow up appointment for him to go under anesthesia and to extract the teeth causing him this problem. They morning I dropped him off I was beyond anxious and nervous for him, but I live right next door and just prayed for the best. He’s never been under anesthesia before so that is what made me the most nervous. At around 3pm I couldn’t wait any longer and I called them to check in, they were patient with me, went in the back to check on him and told me they were still working on him, but he’s doing well and they will call me with an update soon. This relieved my anxiety a bit, and then about it 15 mins later the vet called me and told me he needed 6 teeth pulled and wanted to check if that was okay, I appreciated them calling to check and of course I said yes. Then about 30 mins later they called me to get him. Price was reasonable, they called to check in on him the following day, which was kind and responsible. I recommend them.
