Giving 4 stars since this is our puppy's vet and we've never had an issue here regarding her getting treatments and vaccines. The vet techs are always really nice and the receptionists are also nice and take the time to explain things. The reason I took off a star is because the medications are like double the price you can buy them elsewhere, and also because we had a bad experience with the blonde receptionist who works Saturdays. I know I'm not the only one because I've read other reviews about her so I don't know why this hasn't been addressed yet. She was just very rude and judgemental and also gave us the wrong paper, proceeded to explain to me why it was the right one (it wasn't) and seemed to make a big deal about having to get the right one even though it was just a few clicks on the computer and grabbing a sheet of paper from the printer.

my Daughter just got back from taking our dog Apollo. They said the doctor was amazing. however the receptionist there needs to learn manners and be a little more nice cause apparently she wasn’t nice and she didn’t look like she liked her job so I don’t know why she works there but thank you, Dr. Llewwllyn. the tech was ok. the front lady no.

Dr. Timothy Llewellyn was great. He explained what was wrong with my dog while explaining his diagnosis. When i needed help with assessing the expenses he also broke down my options with costs. My dog is also not a very social guy but he sensed Dr Llewellyn's calm and warming personality and actually went to greet him instead of having the vet greet the dog. That has never happened with him among all vets and groomers that he has met. Thank you!

This past Thursday (8/3), my son came home to our 11 month old pitbull (Nova) broke out in hives and his left eye swollen. We instantly gave him Benadryl and called Petsmart Banfield. We were advised to monitor him and if the swelling doesn’t go down to take him to the ER. Swelling went down, but by Friday night the hives were worse and he wasn’t eating or drinking. His urine was dark so as took him to three different ER’s and was turned away. Saturday I called VCA Jordan River animal hospital and got him right in. Dr. Llewellyn was amazing. He explained that Nova had an anaphylactic shock and we are lucky he’s alive, he said we did the right thing by starting him on Benadryl but whatever stung him, bit him, or whatever he ingested caused a severe allergic reaction. He put him on steroids and Nova is now doing amazing. He is back to his normal hyper self. Dr. Llewellyn also said that we was the 4th patient that he was told was turned away from the ER. We received a phone call from Dr. Llewellyn called this morning (8/7) to check on Nova. I think it’s safe to say that we found Nova a new vet! Thank you, Dr. Llewellyn and staff! Photos are from day 1 to today!

If I could give zero stars I would. I called the day of my dogs appointment to double check the time and address. I even repeated the time back to receptionist and address, ok so the appointment is at z time at x location. She said yes. I get to the place at said time 10 minutes early. She informs me I’m almost 30 minutes late and won’t see my dog. Well my dog died that night so thanx a lot monsters!

Our wonderful dog Koda has been seen here since he was a puppy. The fine folks here have always taken great care of him. When it came time to make the difficult decision to schedule a quality of life exam, They were able to schedule it the same day. The wonderful people at the front desk to Alexus who took Koda’s vitals, all knew what a hard time this was and provided wonderful care and understanding. A special thank you to Dr. Llewellyn. He showed so much compassion to our little guy As he recommended it was time to let him go. Thank you so much for being there in our difficult time and taking care of Koda throughout his life
