Banfield Pet Hospital

This hospital is amazing. Went above and beyond for all my needs. I didn’t even have an appointment I just called and they told me to come in. My dog had a really bad hot spot they recommended everything that has seemed to help him. He’s on the older side so i definitely felt the need to enroll in the wellness plan for his continued care.

I can’t say enough great things about the Banfield Pet Hospital in West Covina! From the moment I brought in my cat, Baby Kitty, the entire staff made sure she was comfortable and cared for. This was her first visit at the vet since she was a kitten, but everyone from the front desk team to the technicians and doctor treated her with so much patience and kindness. I could tell they genuinely care about both pets and their humans. I also really appreciate how organized and clean the facility is. The staff always greets us with a smile, and scheduling appointments is super easy. Their Wellness Plan makes it so much more affordable to keep up with Baby kittys routine care, which gives me total peace of mind. Thanks to Banfield West Covina, baby kitty is healthy, happy, and purring her way through life. 🐱💖 I’m so grateful for this amazing team and wouldn’t trust anyone else with her care!

Took my pet in for an evaluation for an infection on his penis. I took my pet in for an evaluation for an infection on his penis. I was worried because the area looked inflamed and infected, but all I was told multiple times after breaking him and back-and-forth was that he needed to be neutered. It did not really make sense to me because it was not on his balls, but it seemed to me like the staff did not want to help me. They just gave me medicine for the information to go down and blamed it on him having to be neutered. I have been a customer of Banfield for two years now and I feel like they could have helped me so much more than they did. After I left with the medicine, they provided for two days and a cone for my pet I noticed that his area was not getting better. I seek for a second opinion, and the place that I went to was able to provide me an anabiotic’s for one week and give my pet injections that will help with the infection They all so did in fact confirm that it was an infection and cyst in his private area. It upsets me that I have a membership with Banfield and pay monthly for them not to be able to help me and we have to go somewhere else for the help that I should be given from Banfield. I am totally upset with Banfield and do not plan on renewing my membership.

Overcharge for surgery and blood work for $2K or $3K. I never want to coming here even other BanField Pet Hospital. Careless animal care. Even we never see doctor coming to exam room. only the damn Nurse. disappointment company scam!!

*** DO NOT GO HERE!!! The worst Banfield Location ever! Do not go here because the Vet Dr. Lee did not even see my dog but recommended all these tests that should be done for my dog. I get it that's protocol but at least have the decency to check in with the dog and not let the nurse do all the work for you. Anyways I opt in to all X-ray and blood work, spend $1700 on a medical exam plus medication, you would think I would be able to talk to Dr. Lee at this point right? BUT NO she went home early because the clinic was slow on Halloween. Must be nice Dr. Lee! Soooo for those in a pickle and in a emergency trying to get your dog medical attention and be treated with compassion.. this is not the place for it. Go somewhere else. Chino hills animal hospital might be better. So in conclusion skip this clinic they will overcharge you and Dr. Lee is the laziest vet I ever came across. Hope karma gets to you!

Dr. T and Jackie are some of these best people to work with. They have such a passion for pets and it’s always a pleasure to enter the Banfield at West Covina.

Terrible experience bringing my cat here. I brought in my cat because it seemed very sick. They told me that if I paid 300 dollars to send the sample in state I would receive the results back in 1 business day. I waited a week and still didn't have results. Then I called and I asked for the results and it took another 2-3 days. They were not honest when they told me it would only take 1 business day. Also, I brought my cat back for a check up. They said it would cost over 1,000 dollars because he needed an xray and bloodtest (mind you, this is before they even EXAMINE him). I said they should at least listen to him before making that judgement. They said I would need to pay the exam fee. I ended up not wanting to do the xray there or any bloodtests. They made me sign a paper that said if my cat died, they are not liable. They rely on fear tactics to do business. I ended up taking my cat to another vet in Diamond Bar and they recommended doing another round of antibiotics and a different treatment. It came out to 1/3 of the cost that Banfield quoted.
