Walnut Creek Veterinary Hospital

I love this veterinary hospital. Everyone is so nice and welcoming. They take very good care of my 2 little chihuahuas, one needing a muzzle while at the vet. The doctors always explain everything and give you options regarding moving forward with treatment. And they have a big enough practice that they have always gotten me in same day or next day if it was urgent. Highly recommended!

I came in around last October with an abandoned and malnourished 6 week old kitten I caught outside my apartment. I took him to another vet and they were no help, just told me how cute he was and how I was doing a good thing, while I begged them for resources and all the shots he needed. It felt like I was talking to a wall. I think I was helped by a doctor erica? She was beyond amazing. My little dude had nonstop diarrhea and wouldn't stop crying if I wasn't holding him. Her and her team got me so many gloves, a full body cover to protect me and let me hold him between tests/ shots. We were both miserable. She was amazing at saying exactly what I needed to help me smack back to reality when I felt like I was drowning with him. She even gave me a few minutes in the room to calm down. He's with his forever home and looks like an actual cat now! I'm so grateful to her and her amazing team for helping me and helping this lil guy.

We had the pleasure of seeing Dr. Thistlewaite and she was wonderful — calm, kind and refreshingly genuine. Exactly what an anxious (and high maintenance) dog needs. Harley did great with her, and they even managed a nail trim (the real win!). So grateful for such compassionate care.

Everyone here is amazing - they take such great care of all their patients, including their patients' humans. We have been been with WC Veterinary Hospital since 2017 and our dog is now 11. All his vets - Dr. Ikezawa, Dr. Cayton, and now Dr. Xanth - and the staff have loved him and taken such great care of him through the years. We are more than grateful for them. This is a great place and highly recommend them!

I've been bringing my dog to Walnut Creek Veterinary for the past 8 years, and the care we've received has always been exceptional. We’ve been coming here for a few years now and absolutely love it! Staff are all very friendly and our dog always gets so excited when he sees we are pulling up to the office (I know, strange!). The doctors and staff have always taken great care of our dog, no matter what we’ve had to bring him in for, and we can tell everyone genuinely cares. They are also really easy to get a hold of by phone and I love that they have a text line too. So convenient!

I am very happy we found WC Vet Hosp. We tried three other vets in the area before settling with them. Our two year old dog is fearful & reactive. He also has seasonal allergies. WC Vet Hospital focuses on what is best for the pet. They work with us to ease checking in and checking out. Dr Xanth El-Sayed spends time with our dog and has become his friend, which makes the visits much easier. I have found their recommendations to be in our best interest, not their bottom line, as I found elsewhere. Although vet costs are high, their charges were on the lower side as well. I highly recommend Dr Xanth El-Sayed and WC Vet Hospital.
