Had a WONDERFUL experience here and highly recommend this clinic. Dr. Baugh is who helped us. She is extremely knowledgeable and compassionate and we are so thankful for her. We actually live over an hour north and needed an emergency c-section on one of our sheep. Of course, as these things often happen, this emergency happened at night and no other vet near us was available. Very thankful for Dr Baugh!

The staff here are so kind and amazing. My dog passed yesterday and they took such care to take him to be cremated. You can see the compassion in their eyes. Thank you

I’ll be honest — I had issues with this clinic years ago, and I was very vocal about it. If you’re from the Waco area, there’s a good chance you’ve heard about it. Because of that, I spent years trying to find a vet clinic that truly felt right for me and my dogs… and after a long search, I decided to give Coltonwood another try after hearing they had new staff and new procedures in place. I’m really glad I did. Dr. Cooksey is absolutely amazing. I genuinely love her. She listens to my concerns, takes her time, and always gives me her honest, thoughtful opinion. I never feel rushed, brushed off, or dismissed. That alone is huge. The staff at the Loop location is also fantastic. Chance and Alexandra at the front desk are always kind, helpful, and on top of everything, and Heather, the vet tech, is a total star. They’re efficient, friendly, and make every visit smooth and stress-free. We’re always in and out without feeling hurried, which is the perfect balance. Are they pricey? Well… aren’t they all? 😂 But the level of care, professionalism, and peace of mind I get here makes it worth it. If you had a past experience like mine and have been hesitant to return, I can honestly say — give them another chance. The difference is real, and I’m grateful I did.

They are very accommodating. We officially met on bad terms but I do appreciate dr Andrew and his team willing to take on our animals for future care.
