The indifference and lack of kindness from the shot clinic staff will make me never come to this store again. I urgently needed 4 rabies shots, and had gotten one reminder last night saying my appointment was for 11am. In the morning around 9am, with me thinking I had time to go out to my kennels, get the dogs, and bring them in to town at 11, I got a set of three additional notifications saying my first appointment was in 20 minutes. As a courtesy, I called and told them that I was going to be late and would likely miss my appointments because of the way the reminders came in. They said that was fine go ahead and come in and they'd work me in. They did not say when they would be stopping for the day, and when I got there at 12:32, after driving an hour with 4 dogs (and accidentally wasting 20 minutes at PetSmart because I got confused about what store I was suppose to go to), they informed me I had to reschedule because they just closed. They never mentioned on the phone when they were going to be done, and it would have taken 5 minutes to do 4 rabies shots. Completely utterly insensitive and indifferent to the needs of the animals The one lady said, "yeah you said you would be late, but you didn't say how late". Just complete & utterly indifferent.
My dog was previously vaccinated for rabies and the clinic defaulted to a one year shot instead of the three year shot. Very disappointed.
The check in attendant is usually pleasant. The vet/vet tech not so much. Heaven forbid you have a question or need instruction on medications, side effects, or follow-ups. It felt like they're doing you a huge favor for paid services. Last visit to "vetco" for us.
After being told that my dog was 3 months old and his birthdate was April 23rd, they said he wasn’t the size of a 3 month old. They said I needed to buy the bigger more expensive puppy vaccination package and then put May 7th as his birthdate.
Ridiculous service. I set up appointment for my dog. The website let me select the time of 1140am. I am in line at that time and waiting as the girl checking people in is taking her time. When it is my turn to check in another girl comes up and says no more people and even acknowledges I was waiting for a while by saying I don't know how long he has been waiting but no more.
