I took my 2 large Labs to CityVet today for regular vaccinations and nail trims. Their patience and kind handling of my rambunctious pups was well appreciated. This clinic is amazing with animals. Some might consider it a little pricey, but if owners aren't willing to pay for great care from trusted Doctors and technicians, they probably shouldn't have pets. Today was a devastating day for us. Our baby girl suffered a seizure during the freeze and became immobile. We stayed up with her all night, holding her and loving her. I called this place in a whim because we didn’t know what to do. We knew it was her time to go, and were prepared to have her go to her eternal sleep. They were so loving, patient, and kind. My husband and I were so heartbroken and devastated, but they made this an experience that we could hold on to forever. We got baby girl together on our second date almost 14 years ago. She was "supposed to be a tea cup chihuahua but ended up being a "Texas size" chihuahua. She was there in our wedding day, when we purchased our first home and all the major milestones a young couple experienced. We thank City vet for their time and compassion for us and our baby girl. She would’ve been 14 this year but lived life like a queen. Thank you all from City Vet for taking care of our baby girl.

City Vet showed our family such incredible kindness during one of the hardest moments we’ve faced. When our sweet old dog passed away and we needed to arrange her cremation, every staff member treated us with so much compassion, patience, and care. What truly stood out was the way they continued to support us afterward. When I came to pick up her remains, I unexpectedly started having car trouble. The receptionist immediately stepped in to help — she gave my kids crayons and coloring pages, brought us water, and let us sit comfortably in a room while we waited for the tow truck. They even offered to keep an eye on my vehicle while we figured everything out. In a moment that was already emotionally overwhelming, their genuine kindness meant more than I can express. We are so grateful for the love and compassion City Vet showed our family and our beloved dog. Thank you for going above and beyond.

This was my first time taking my cat to CityVet - Universal City. All of the staff were amazing. Super sweet, super helpful. The facility is very nice. I felt very comfortable and I will absolutely be bringing my pets back here for anything they need. They also provided secondary options once I communicated my financial concerns. 10/10 would recommend!

Mary K ( I believe that’s what her name tag read). She was the sweetest tech I’ve ever came across. I have a reactive miniature schnauzer, and when I told her I was more comfortable with them, examining her in the back with the muzzle. She did not fight me tooth or nail like previous places she complied brought me a muzzle and then we happily walk my dog to the back to be examined. The doctor was also very knowledgeable and explaining what they recommended and why. I will say if you’re reading this and you have a pet and you don’t have pet insurance please do purchase it.

The staff at the front was nice but we waited for over an hour to see a vet. . and never saw one so we walked out. I can understand maybe 10,15 minutes but over an hour. Do better at least come let us know that we will be seen soon instead of us just waiting there not knowing anything.

Peace of mind and superior care is what everyone needs when their pet has an emergency and that is what I found at City Vet in Universal City. My Schnauzer, Rascal, had an emergency on a Sunday when vet care is so limited but I was thankful to find City Vet. When I called I was greeted by a friendly and helpful "real" person that provided the information I needed so I could easily decide to seek their urgent care services. When I met with the technician they thoroughly reviewed recommended assessment cost so I knew upfront what to expect. When I met with Dr. Levenberg she patiently listened to details of Rascal's symptoms and past history and from there and after her exam we jointly determined the way forward. The recommended assessments were necessary to confirm Rascal's condition and thankfully they carried the medication necessary for him to start treatment immediately. From past experience I know that my normal vet does not carry the medication that was needed and they would have sent me elsewhere. What a relief that my baby didn't need to suffer another day because City Vet was prepared and equipped to take immediate action to implement the treatment necessary to start Rascal's healing process!! The treatment had to be administered over three days and at each visit Rascal received top notch care. I highly recommend City Vet if you are searching for doctors and staff that will treat your babies with the same compassion that you do! Don't feel like you need to wait for an emergency to give them a call, as I will be back for all our veterinary needs! A million thanks to City Vet for taking care of Rascal, he is doing great thanks to the care you provided!!! Also, thanks for hosting pictures with Santa today so Rascal could take a picture with his brother, Bandit!
