Dr. Russell has been absolutely amazing with our cat! He had severe periodontal disease and stomatitis and needed his back teeth extracted. Dr. Russell was compassionate, thorough, and made us feel completely at ease. The difference in our cat afterward was incredible. We now see him yearly for dentals and trust Dr. Russell completely. Highly recommend! 🐾
My first visit with a cat that has Stomatitis, basically an allergy to dental plaque, which required removal of all her teeth. They had an appointment cancelation so the staff were nice enough to call and get me in faster which was great because she couldn't eat. Dr. Russell talked with me after her surgery about everything and asked if I had any questions and really listened and replied to all my concerns. Not only that, I noticed they had trimmed her claws, which helped immensely when I was trying to put a pain pill down her mouth hole 😆. I'll use them again.
would recommended taking your pet here! my puppy broke her leg at 3 months old they were able to get her in for surgery quick, now 7 weeks later she is all healed! Doc. Schultz was amazing with my puppy! we loved the receptionist Jessie she had no problem answering any questions we asked and explaining in detail! also would recommended using trupanion pet insurance, they covered majority of her surgery and OVS works directly with them so i did not have to contact the insurance once.
Great experience. I was referred to VDCT by my trusted primary vet who vouched for Dr. Russel and his team, saying if her dogs needed oral surgery, she'd trust Dr. Russel. I'm happy to say my dog Hopscotch was in very good hands and now has a healthy mouth after a tooth removal and root canal. The office provides thorough records of xrays and charts detailing the treatment as well. A real testament to his office is that when we went back for a re-check two weeks later, she wasn't nervous at all to go to the clinic, and was even happy to see everyone. Thanks everybody!
Dr. Russell is very understanding to my fears with my 5 tiny dogs. He puts me at ease explaining things and he has a very gentle nature. I'm very happy I found him and learned to trust him. He has also a amazing staff. Keeps you up to date on every little thing! Thank you Dr. Russell!
My Nala is back to her playful, cheerful self thanks to VDCT! They were so caring.
We were referred to Dr. Russell by our vet in Edmond, OK for our baby's discolored canine tooth. Everyone at this clinic was so nice and thorough throughout the whole process. We were worried about her loosing one of her canine teeth, but Dr. Russell was able to save the tooth with a root canal. They explained everything they would be doing from start to finish and were very reassuring. We were sent home with post care instructions as well as notes from her chart for us to keep. I felt 100% comfortable leaving our baby with them for this procedure. I would refer anyone to go to Dr. Russell for their pets dental needs. Thank you so much for taking great care of our baby Emerald.
