Beautiful and clean facility. Reception was kind, friendly and helpful. Dr. Puckett was kind, informative and thorough in the exam explaining everything he was seeing. We were there for an eye ulcer that refused to heal. The girls at the front desk were super nice, loved on my dog (major plus) and even brought him some water while we waited. The icing on the cake was the bill. Not near as much as I thought it would be. Think they might be actually cheaper than my regular vet!!!! 10 stars from me!
We had to have our sweet senior cat euthanized on a Sunday afternoon and found OVS staff to be very kind and comforting. They explained everything and gave us plenty of time to decide. They had a very nice, quiet room to spend our final moments with our boy, and a way for us to notify them when we were ready for the next step. Afterwards, they let us stay with him for as long as we wished and we could exit from a back door, directly to the parking lot. The price for euthanasia was very reasonable.
They are fantastic! Always pleasant & professional! I've been here many times with my pets for both emergencies & internal medicine! They take really good care of my furbabies & treat them like family! Highly recommended!
We were referred to OVS from our vet for care of our sweet Sophie. She had a condition that required several hospitalizations, medications, and specialist consultations. Everyone at OVS was caring and compassionate, and treated our Sophie with loving care. They responded to phone calls and all visits with personal care and concern. And at the end of Sophie's life, Dr Hale and Tony were very supportive and patient with me, and always concerned about Sophie's comfort. I appreciate the entire staff more than I can say.
Dr. Schultz and all of the staff at OVS are incredible and wonderful. She performed surgery on my dog and the whole experience was gentle and supportive from start to finish. Everyone we encountered were patient and thorough when explaining the options and procedures. They provided timely updates following each step of testing, surgery and recovery. The quality of care and service was exceptional, and I would not hesitate to go back to them for service for my dogs.
I’m so grateful that this place exists. It was close to a holiday and we were having to make some really painful decisions on my 17-year-old Yorkie, Chip. The vets are great, and ultimately found the issue to be something completely different than what he was referred there for. It helped make our decision, and they were absolutely the best at making sure he was comfortable at the end. They are caring, compassionate, and I’m so grateful to them.
Don't believe the bad reviews. A pet health crisis is a confusing and emotional experience for human caregivers, and I think the less than great reviews reflect that. My 10 year old female Italian greyhound was referred to OVS when our regular vet suspected she had bladder cancer. Dr. Kristen Clark wasted no time in ordering the right tests to get my sweet Inka diagnosed so that we could begin treatment as quickly as possible. Inka's chemo treatments were stressful at first, but the wonderful staff at OVS made us feel welcome at every visit. Over time Inka got used to our every other week visits. The staff we saw regularly knew her name and greeted her with heartwarming enthusiasm. It made everything so much easier. Huge thanks to Dr. Clark and Kam the vet tech! Seven months of chemo bought Inka an extra year of life. Bladder cancer is virtually always terminal in dogs and I understood that from the beginning, but Inka lived to see her 11th birthday and that meant the world to me. As a medically literate person with a background in STEM, I found the care my dog received at OVS to be exemplary. And as a dog lover who would do anything to keep my animals happy and comfortable, I would recommend OVS and Dr. Clark to absolutely anyone looking for a good internal medicine vet. Dr. Clark took wonderful care of my Inka. I truly believe she treated my darling girl with all the same care she would have shown her own dog. Inka ultimately passed away, but the last year I had with her was the long and beautiful goodbye we needed. Every single day I had with Inka was a gift, and I'm grateful beyond words.
