My son is working on a film project in Tulsa. He has a senior dog on various heart medications and needed a check up and refills. I hit the bullseye selecting Animal Medical and Surgical Hospital. Dr Pfeffer and her staff are the most compassionate and professional team I’ve EVER experienced. Tiffany initially helped me with setting the initial appointment with my son’s dog, Nox. Morgan, the nurse was so kind and took her time. Page and Bria also were very sweet and professional. Every one was so great, I returned this week with my new puppy, Penelope. I HIGHLY recommend this office if you’re wanting full service compassionate and loving pet care. They are #1.
I have a very challenging Pomeranian when it comes to nail trimming at home. Tried several methods, but he gets sooo worked up that I can never finish. His groomer did such a great job on him today that I don't regret the visit whatsoever. Thanks AMSH
My baby girl ripped her nail in the quick, soni called around trying to find someone to get her in with a reasonable price first experience with this clinic they told me to bring her right in soon as I got there it wasn't but a fewoo I'm minutes and we was in the back getting her examined the lady that took us back went over everything and estimated price for if we could do it with out sedation and with sedation and all the extras I never felt pushed to add anything I didn't need they did offer things avaliable as they should but never made me feel bad about not having the money for the extras, at first we though we would be able to don't without sedation but the vet came in and said she could but didn't feel really comfortable because of how close it was so we decided to go with the sedation which in the end was the best decision but the also cut the coast where she could so it still fit into a responsible budget for us after the procedure the vet came out advised us how everything went and the nurse went over all medication this clinic really saved the day and went above and beyond for my baby and I will diffently be back if any other emergency come up with my fur babies. GREAT JOB ANIMAL MEDICAL AND SURGICAL HOSPITAL FOR YOUR OUT STANDING WORK YOU DO THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!
My 7 month old Havanese puppy was neutered on Monday. It was a cryptorchid neuter so he had an extra abdominal incision. Camy was our nurse and Dr. Pfeffer did his surgery. From the time that Oliver got there till the time I picked him up he was in the very best hands! They always call the next day to make sure that everything's okay after a surgery. Our other two dogs and my Canary are also patients at this hospital and I give them five stars!!
The staff and veterinarian at this Hospital were extremely kind and thorough while helping me try to treat a very sick bird. I don't know yet whether or not my bird will survive, but I will definitely come back either with this bird or with a future bird for regular treatment and hopefully we will not need to do another major sick visit in the future.
My children and I recently had to say goodbye to our sweet cat Milo after 13 years due to liver failure and I will forever be grateful for the incredible compassion shown by Dr. Ellen Tredway and the entire team. From his feeding tube surgery, to the gentle care he received at every visit, to his final days, Dr. Tredway tried everything to save him, supporting me each step of the way with patience, kindness, and genuine love. When it was time to let him go, she cried with me. You can tell this isn’t "just a job", everyone here truly loves animals, hurts when you hurt, and celebrates with you when there’s good news. They’re more than just a vet’s office, it feels like family, one that we’ll always be a part of for any future pets. They gave Milo dignity, love, and the gentlest care in his final days, and for that I will always be thankful. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart, and for giving us more time with Milo that we wouldn’t have had without you.
AMSH takes such great care of our two beloved dogs! We are very grateful for their calm and confident demeanor, care and concern of the wellbeing of our 13yr old (yellow) and 2 yr old (chocolate) and professionalism in everything they do. Special shout-out to Dr. Pfeffer, Dr. Shillingford, Kami and Charlie!
