amazing vet and wonderful staff! i took my 1 year old rat here when i noticed she had a tumor. dr. jake did an assessment and recommended surgery. the doctor and staff were so amazing and the surgery went smoothly. they even helped splinter after her surgery when she messed with her drain tube. i’m so thankful i have a vet clinic near me that is willing to help my rats with anything. the surgery and testing was EXPENSIVE as expected, but it is worth it for my baby to be healthy and happy. i definitely recommend coming here! thank you so much! 🐀

The vet refused to see my 18 year old dog because my mom was about 10 minutes late to his appointment. I want to support Tulare, but I'll be taking my dogs to Visalia. My elderly dog needs to find a new vet now because they couldn't see him until June. He needs his vaccines, so he can't leave the house right now. I’ve been a client for many years, and I'm disappointed in the company.

We brought our bunny to Cross Street Small Animal Veterinary Hospital to be neutered, and overall had a very positive experience. The staff was warm and welcoming, and the vet was kind and reassuring. The only downside was the cost—between $550–$850 for the procedure—which seemed a bit high compared to what I’ve heard elsewhere. That said, our bunny felt like he was in safe, caring hands, and for the peace of mind and quality of care, I’d gladly pay it again.

Our Labrador retriever needed an unscheduled c-section, and the superstar staff and doctors at Cross Street Vet swooped in and saved the day. They were super busy and we were a first time client, but they went out of their way to squeeze us in during their lunch hour to help us and our beloved Chloe. Every staff member was very helpful, patient, and polite. Dr Gomez is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better experience than what we had with Cross Street Vet. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a top tier vet with top tier people. 😊

Miracle workers is what they are!!!! My baby Shadow (a 2 year old 110 pound corso) got sick, we were almost sure he was going to die. After some tests and medication, Doctor J. found that my dog has Addison's disease. They brought my dog back to life. They are caring and will make the necessary changes for you and your pet to feel comfortable. They saved my dog and for that I will be always grateful 🙏 very professional and compassionate place to take your babies to.

I can't say THANK YOU enough first to TATIYA for taking my frantic phone call after my golden retriever was attacked and mauled by 2 pit bulls-Tatiya told us to bring him immediately and DR. HEERS went right to work saving to save his life! ( I know our dog may still have complications due to his internal organs/ bleeding, but these 2 people have saved his life at this point and I am eternally grateful!

The BEST vet office in Tulare County! The first time I went here, I took in a Rottweiler that was left tied up outside my apartment complex a few years ago. I found a great rescue service that helped me care for him while I became his foster parent and I noticed he had blood in his urine. They instructed me to take him to Cross st vet. By this point I had grown very attached to the Rottie I named Bucky. He was pretty rough looking but he was the sweetest most gentle boy. The staff were all so kind and sweet to him. They had to put a catheter in him and I just couldn’t handle the idea of him hurting and they were very sensitive to my anxiety about it and took him to another room to insert it. I was beside myself when I heard him whimper just the tiniest bit from the other room. But when he got out he was totally fine and happy. Since then, I’ve taken a few more foster dogs and now this is where I take my little guy. And everyone there always treats every pet like they are so special.
