They're located very close to I-19 and Irvington, which was convenient for me. They have very friendly and knowledgeable staff. My newly spayed Chihuahua puppy was in good hands. I definitely wasn't the first person to arrive in the morning, but it didn't seem like my wait was long at all. Including the surgery, getting her nails trimmed, and additional pain medication, the total cost was under $200. I found this to be an excellent price.

I needed low cost spaying for my puppy. This business gets very busy so I recommend getting there early. The waiting room is very small and gets crowded. The women behind the desk are very nice and informative. They seem to be gentle with the pets. I recommend this vet if you are on a tight budget.

I have a love hate relationship with this vet. It is beyond difficult to get a timely appt even when you have an emergency. HOWEVER, when my dog had a stroke they got me in and Kim was so sweet to my boy and so kind to me when he had to be put to sleep. It was the hardest decision of my life. But she let me take my time until I was ready and then gave me the room with him after to say my goodbyes. So any issue I have had with them in the past now stays there for the immense kindness I was shown on one of the worst days of my and the kindness they showed my baby and how calm they kept us both. So thank you for that and thank you for the other help that you gave me. That meant so much. My boy left this world with a smile on his face and thats more than I could've asked for 🥹

I took 15 kittens in for TNR spread out over 4weeks back in 2017. These nuggets were young and we were socializing them in hopes of homing them. First 3 females went fine. Second group of 3 males came home with ⅓ of their left ear clipped. I said something when I brought the next group in and was told "we will mention it to the vet techs". Those Boyz were better but one male had been shaved for a Spay operation as well as his butt! It wasn't till I brought the last 3 group of males that anyone told me I could skip the ear clip. I never could home the "butchered" ear cats but found homes for the Normal looking ones 4 years ago I brought another young cat in for neuter service. This time IVAN was a regular patient. They discovered he had crypt orchidism so he got double surgery and they treated injuries from a fight. I was very happy with my overall experience and extremely grateful for the TNR services they provide. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m very grateful for Santa Cruz Veterinary Clinic. The staff was kind, compassionate, and treated my dog penny with so much care. They took the time to help and made sure my pet was comfortable. You can tell they truly care about animals and the community. Their prices are also very reasonable, which really helps people who are struggling but still want the best care for their pets. Thank you to everyone there for the kindness and help you gave us. I highly recommend this clinic!

I was really saddened to hear that they are down to two docs and not taking new clients. I've heard so many wonderful things and we all want our four footed friends to have the best care possible. I'll check back next year.

Had my girlfriends dog spayed here where the staff was very friendly and helpful. Their prices are very reasonable and the vet's perform great work. Highly recommend.
