Dr. Halstead and staff provide excellent service and care from the moment you walk in the door with your pet. They are very patient with animals that are stressed and anxious. Dr Halstead takes the time to explain options for treatments (medications, vaccinations, maintenance) keeping in mind the financial costs. She answers all questions or concerns you might have. The clinic is very clean, easy access to the parking lot and in a great location. The staff also provided information about online companies that offer lower priced products. I definitely recommend Dr. Halstead and Burlingame Road Animal Hospital.

We’ve had a wonderful experience with Burlingame Animal Hospital and Dr. Wolfe. The entire staff is friendly, compassionate, and truly cares about both pets and their owners. Dr. Wolfe takes the time to explain everything clearly and never makes you feel rushed. It’s such a comfort knowing our dog is in such caring and capable hands. We’re so grateful for the excellent care and highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy veterinary team!

My poor doggo had a puffy ear that drooped down a bit. They gave me a few options to choose from instead of just telling me hey we are doing this. Also, gave me more knowledge on rabis shots. AND accepted my CareCredit card! Very nice employees and they keep everything clean and organized.

I took Max in thinking I would not bring him home. He was gagging and having such a hard time breathing, and his back legs almost seemed worthless. Turned out he had a collapsed trachea and arthritis in his legs. I was surprised to get the call that I could come pick him up with a couple of medications to make him feel better. Needless to say, Max is doing amazing and walking better than he has in almost a year! He is back to breathing normally, and I have the medication to help him. Should his choking and gasping for air occur again. I cannot say enough about the staff at this clinic. I received two phone calls the next day as well as a text message from my regular vet who was not working that day, checking on Max. This clinic always goes above and beyond, and I am so grateful for all of them.

We took our newly adopted Chihuahua mix in for his first visit. The staff were kind and welcoming. The nurse and vet were great with our dog and in asking questions and giving us information. We have taken other dogs to Burlingame Road Animal Hospital, seen two other vets there, and have always been happy with the care given to our pets.

Millie was having odd symptoms that seemed like a seizure. I called to see it they could see her without an appt and they said sure, come on in. After a thorough exam and the Dr taking alot of time to explain seizures and the protocol we were heading out to checkout. They told me it was all no charge, I tried to pay for an office exam but they insisted it wasn't necessary. Wow! What kindness! You all are the best!

I have been taking my two dogs to Burlingame for a year now. I have found them be on time. Even when I was running late, they were able to accommodate me and my pet. One of my dogs had a terrible leg infection, which was very scary. The care he received was good, but the price seemed high. However, my experience has been that pet care is very costly no matter who the provider is.
