I am very disappointed in the trim of flight feathers, nails, and beaks of my two large birds. They didn’t touch the nails or beaks of the cockatoo, yet i paid for it and the terrible cut of the bird’s feathers. Both birds look like the received the worst hair cut… aka wing trim imaginable. My African Grey had minimal balance afterwards because of how excessively short her wings were. I seen plenty of happy customers walk out with their dogs. However this was not a experience that I am willing to repeat for my Avian Family members.

I thought I would give this place one more chance with my dog for a simple nail trim and my mind is literally blown right now. They trimmed his nails. They didn’t even tell me that he was bleeding and not to mention. I’m pretty sure they went a little far because all of his clicks are completely exposed. I’m not so sure this is how a nail trim is supposed to go. And all the years that I’ve had this dog and have taken him to get his nails trimmed. I have never seen them look like this. I will definitely not ever be going back.

Dr conner and staff have taken very excellent care of My Dog's over the years.. From my Doberman Rufus, who had developed Diabetes... which Dr. Conner was excellent at helping Rufus and I control his Diabetes...Giving him a good life. Ajax my 4 Month old..Male Doberman..is being very well taken care of..... I have had several Dog's taken care of by Animal care center... They answer every question..without hesitation.. Keep you posted on appointments. Recommend health checks in your Baby's wellness... I Have the utmost respect for the entire center..

From the front desk "Hello!" To the end of the visit with Dr. Conner to the final good bye, every encounter I have had has been great! Everyone is friendly, professional, genuine, and warm. I couldn't ask for a better group of people to take care of my pack. Thank you guys for everything!!

Thank you so much for being here for Joey, Dr Conner is very thorough n kind, his team actually calls n checks on Joey at this time, not many r compassionate n caring as they are. 10/26/25 Took Joey in Dr Connor n team were very compassionate n supportive Joey was very sick n they were very caring in the fact I had to make a hard decision of letting him pass so he wouldn't suffer anymore 😢 Thank you Dr Connor n staff

I brought my dog in today for a cracked dewclaw nail. Prior to the visit, he had a mild limp and a small amount of bleeding. During the appointment, his quick was cut, which caused significant bleeding and visible pain. This occurred without any prior warning or explanation, and I was not informed while it was happening. No pain medication was given or offered afterward, and there was no clear explanation of what was done, why it was necessary, or what level of pain to expect at home. Because of the lack of communication, I had to research on my own to understand why he was bleeding and limping afterward. He is currently still uncomfortable, and I am now planning to return to ask whether pain management should have been provided. This was disappointing because my previous experience at this clinic was much better. This visit felt rushed and impersonal, and I did not feel that my dog’s comfort or my understanding as an owner were prioritized. At this time, I cannot recommend this clinic based on today’s experience. I plan to follow up and will update this review if concerns are addressed.

Dr. Connor was not our vet but we found the clinic while looking for ultrasound as advised from another vet. They were going to get us in immediately the next morning. Unfortunately, our girl took a turn for the worse overnight and we got to ACC as soon as they opened and Dr. Connor sat with us, examined our dog throughly and looked at her CBC from the other vet. He explained to us very clearly and throughly what our options were, possible outcomes of those options and if they were just prolonging her suffering or if they actually offered any hope for recovery. After talking through these options and more assessing, we were required to make the heartbreaking decision to let her go. Because another vet in west central topeka, did not act quickly her body was deciding it was time to sleep. Dr. Connor was so compassionate about the process. We are heartbroken but feel like at least someone took time with our girl and us to communicate what was happening. We will be collecting the records for our other dog and changing vets to ACC. The drive across town is worth it!!
