My Chihuahua has suffered from allergies, he has been seen by other veterinarians. His allergies worsened every season, causing his to get a yeast infection from licking his paws. Decided to change vets, called Aminal Health Centre. Dr Durham examined him, explained what was going on and provided medication options and how they would work. With the provide treatment, allergies had decreased by about 80% as the licking also stopped. Will be back to Animal Health Centre as needed. Was treated Excellent by the Customer Service and Dr. Durham.

My mini poodle had been vomiting intermittently for a couple of years. Our previous vet dismissed it as allergies. Dr. Durham noticed our poodle had an inflamed pancreas on the first visit. Bloodwork confirmed pancreatitis. Luckily we are able to manage it well with diet. I am so grateful for Dr. Durham getting the right diagnosis and treatment so that our dog doesn’t have to suffer anymore.

Dr. Chris Durham has been my vet since 2020. First - in 2020, he wasn't scared to let people come in the room with their pets and be with them - he encouraged it. He is thoughtful, very thorough and has seen me through a cat with cancer, another cat with thyroid disease, heart disease, beginning kidney disease and blindness. I'm writing this as we are iced in. Before the storm hit, I called because my cat was having what seemed to be a neurological episode (probably cardiovascular now that i know more) He got on the phone with me and directed me to another animal hospital, because if he needed overnight care, his team doesn't do that - which i already knew and respected. I ended up at MedVet Dallas - told them that his vet was Chris. They sent over all of my pet's paperwork and low and behold, the AM of the ice-pocolypse, Dr. Durham calls me with his information, discussing what was found, next course of action and what we would do. I told him to be safe on the streets and he said it was a priority for him to come in, in case anyone needed him and his team. I can't express my gratitude enough to him and his team. He will always be my trusted veterinarian.

Dr. Durham (and staff!) was excellent! He did a textbook job of explaining everything, confirming we understood, and getting our dog taken care of. Pricing was reasonable, and felt like he did a thorough job of looking our dog over, and giving him an accurate diagnosis. Not to mention he's a really nice person! We will definitely be going back!

Our regular vet is out on a family emergency. So we could not get our 11mobth okd rescue un for what I believed was a "Hot Spot" on her back. The earliest we could get in would have been nid next week. These things get worse quickly. Called the practice and they were able to help us out, getting our dog in before lunch. Exam, treatment and meds all came to $245.00. The vet was very soft spoken, gave out dog a preliminary exam and took care of the necessary treatment. Although we had another dog years ago get. A similar skin condition, the doctor carefully explained and asked if we had any questions during the visit. Glad they were able to help in a pinch and get out girl in for a visit. Nothing good ever happens on a Friday, but today things worked out. Whe we left, Dr. D. said give us a call if need anything. I like to see he helped out another practice's patient in time of emergency. Thank you Dr. D.

I've recently moved to The Colony and when my younger dog Nova ( Basset beagle ) needed to be seen ASAP, due to a very bad limp ( torn ACL ) I called many of the popular clinics in the area they said they were two weeks out and one very rude clinic on North Colony expected payment up front for the visit. Of course I wasn't going to pay if their appointments were two weeks out, as I needed my dog to be seen ASAP. Needless to say, I called AHC and was able to get in same day. Doc looked over the x-rays from the emergency vet and was able to give me a clear path for recovery, 6 weeks hardcore rest in a cage and laser treatments. Today 2+ months out Nova is doing GREAT and able to run and play again. Yesterday 11-17-2020 I had to make the most difficult decision of my adult life, to put my older dog ( Bentley my Lab ) to sleep, due to a tumor on his heart. The Doc and techs couldn't have been more supportive, I shed some big boy tears in that office after letting my guy go. They allowed me to stay with him from start to finish and allowed me some time alone once he had passed. To sum up this long review, these guys are TOP NOTCH and have earned my continued support and rave review. I can't thank them enough for how they helped Bentley and I yesterday, during one of the toughest decisions I've ever had to make. THANK YOU ACH TEAM! Austin, Bentley and Nova 🙂
