The staff and veterinarian were very friendly and knowledgeable. They answered all my questions patiently (I had many since I was there with my first kitten ever!) and they were extremely careful and reassuring when handling her. I will be recommending this place to all my friends with cats.

I’ve been bringing my cats here for 7 years now, and even after moving to the East bay I continue to come here. The staff are compassionate, highly competent and they take good care of their furry patients. Today they were able to make a last minute appointment for one of my very sick cats which I greatly appreciated as a trip to the ER would’ve cost much more and I’d likely still be waiting there right now. The thought of moving internationally with two cats was incredibly stressful, but Sunnyvale Cat Clinic, Robert, Dr. Chan, and their entire team, turned what could've been a nightmare into a smooth, positive experience. After a terrible time with another clinic that seemed overwhelmed and unhelpful with the process, I was feeling defeated. Then I found Sunnyvale Cat Clinic, and from the first phone call, they were a breath of fresh air. They were absolute pros when it came to the complex requirements for moving to Singapore. They knew every detail about the health certificates, vaccinations, and timelines, and they handled it all with confident demeanor that put me at ease. They were so kind and patient with both my cats and me. They answered my endless questions, made sure every single piece of paperwork was perfect, and even provided tips for making the travel day less stressful for my feline companions. I can't express enough how much their expertise and genuine care meant to me. If you're facing a complicated international move with your pets, especially if you're going to Singapore, look no further. The team at Sunnyvale Cat Clinic is simply the best. I love Dr Hanney! I followed her to Sunnyvale Cat Clinic when she changed practices. She is the most kind, professional, understanding, and competent veterinarian I have ever had. I do have to say that they seem to be pricey; however, there is nothing too good for my little girl. Dr Hanney has been with me as I have had to put down several of my cats over the years. Her empathy and support always goes above and beyond! Every cat deserves a Dr Hanney in their life! Update: I just had to put down a very sweet girl and Dr Hanney was with me every step of the way. When Bella was diagnosed with kidney failure, Dr. Hanney went over all of the options and likely outcomes. Bella was on fluids and medication for about two months. She started losing weight and would not eat any food. Dr Hanney told me that it was time to let Bella go. After Bella was gone, Dr Hanney gave me a huge hug and literally let me cry on her shoulder. She then sent me a sympathy card. I wish I can give her 10 stars because that is what she deserves! It looks like I will be getting two new cats very soon and Dr Hanney will be their vet!!!

This is a great, calm place to take your cat. The doctors explain everything well and use fear-free methods with your cat so they don’t get traumatized (if you haven’t heard of fear-free, you can google it to learn more). This does mean that if your cat, even with a huge dose of gabapentin, doesn’t want his blood drawn, they won’t force it, so instead they’ll do the draw on the day of the procedure. It’s a little inconvenient, but my anxious cat isn’t terrified anymore, so I think the inconvenience is worth it. In case you’re wondering, this cat (really cat and small animals) clinic is a part of the Sunnyvale Veterinary Clinic, but has separate facilities.
