Affton Veterinary Clinic

We had our bearded dragon checked out and we had a great time. The vet and tech were very thorough with their examination and gave me a lot of care tips.

I was so pleased with my little guy Bentleys very first vet visit. The ladies made us feel right at home from the time we walked in the door. Everyone that we interacted with with was so kind. I would 💯 recommend Affton Vetinary clinic!!

Have been going to Affton Vet for 6 years, my second dog is a current patient. We have had such a great experience with both Dr. Brooks and Dr. Martinie. My dog Leo and I both love Lindsay the vet tech. She made me feel so much better about my dog having to get sedated for teeth cleaning, and she truly made me feel like he was in good hands during a very stressful (for me) procedure. We love seeing her when we go and Lindsay always makes sure to tell Leo he is so brave!

I took my cat here twice. The first time everything was great! They took their time, greeted my cat gently and gained his trust quickly with pets and treats and they did a marvelous job giving him shots comfortably and making it a good experience! The second time, boy did we feel duped. They try hard the first time to make you come back, then the second visit they treated my boy like a stuffed animal. I bring my cat in on a leash and harness and she came right up to him and scooped him up like a ragdoll. obviously hissing ensued and I’m surprised he didn’t try to bite her! This is a cat who never, I mean NEVER hisses. He bites playfully but never in a mean way. She scooped him up and just let him hiss and hiss, then took him to the back away from us, where I could hear his angry "MROAHHHH". They made us believe they cared the first time with their sensitivity and gentleness just to be hoodwinked the next with fast uncaring grabs and telling him to "stop being such a baby". I would give zero stars this time if I could. "Con-artist"move. My boy is family and deserves to be treated like it.

Dr. Brooks is so thorough and detailed when it comes to yearly examinations for Finn and Louie. Ashley S. Is caring and helpful. I appreciate this for my senior pups. The staff follows up with questions and Lisa is always patient at the front desk. I am so happy I found Dr. Brooks for my pups!

Very friendly and helpful vets and staff. Everyone involved in my dog’s annual checkup and care treated my dog very gently and explained to me what they were doing and why. I highly recommend Affton Veterinary to everyone!

Dr. Brooks, Lisa and everyone at Affton Vet are truly amazing. They don’t just care for your pets medically but they truly do care about your pets, as they develop relationships with you and your animals. Our German Shepherd, Jerry Lee was diagnosed with Lymphoma, when he passed away Dr. Brooks and the Vet team took the time to sign a thoughtful card and provide and beautiful hand painted paw print and memorial fur urn. It didn’t go unnoticed. We truly appreciate everything Affton Vet has done to help our pets and will continue to come here for their care.
