I can’t be happier with the services provided to my dog. Vets are so professional and caring. Assistants and all staff are really sweet and loving with my 🐶. Price point is very fair and accessible. This place is very up to date with online services from scheduling appointments online to prescriptions. And walk in appointments when you can’t wait. I’m so glad I found Shawnee animal hospital .

I brought my 5 month old Chihuahua in and he was diagnosed with parvo. The staff was very friendly, and compassionate towards my chi, (Fonzy), as well as me. They went above and beyond to help me get treatment for him, as I did not have the finances to have him admitted and treated by them. The only other option I had was to treat him myself at home. They have a brilliant program that allows people who have unused bottles of meds to be donated to their facility. Because of this I was able to get all the meds he needed to save his life at home vs admitting him into the hospital, which would have costed much more money; money I didn't have at all. Instead of letting him leave with no hope at all they gave me 5 medications that Fonzy needed to save his life, all for free. There would have been no hope for Fonzy without those meds. I am so grateful for the people who work at Shawnee animal hospital, and for the people who have donated their unused meds that they paid for. Thank you for being so compassionate, considerate, and helpful. I appreciate each and everyone of you. So far Fonzy is doing as well as can be expected given his diagnosis. Time will tell, but I am praying very hard for him to pull through this. Paula Adams

Recently, I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my dog down. From the moment I walked in, the entire clinic staff was absolutely incredible. They were compassionate, patient, and took the time to gently explain the entire process so I knew what to expect. I was an emotional wreck, but not once did anyone make me feel like I was overreacting or being "too much." They treated both me and my dog with dignity, kindness, and respect during one of the hardest moments of my life. I am forever grateful for the empathy and care they showed. Thank you for making such a painful day just a little more bearable.

We are incredibly thankful for this vet’s office and the entire team. From routine visits to multiple emergencies, they have always been there for our dogs. The staff, vet techs, and doctors are compassionate, sincere, and truly do their best every time. They feel like extended family to us, and we genuinely appreciate all they do. Came in with my puppy (Hazel) that got ran over by my horse. I was an absolute shambles when I came in so scary that her injury was really bad. The ladies of the Counter immediately started helping me and got me into a room in probably less then a minute. They were very quick and very thorough, they got x rays done in about 30 minutes and everything was ok, no broken bones! The staff were so sweet and helpful and I couldn’t ask for a better vet clinic. Thank you to all the people that work here!!

I have always had the best of care with my animals. All of the Dr.s and their assists are very tuned in on a personal level when they have your pets in their care. Everyone is kind and caring to your appt need or emergency need. Thank you for my current emergency need. Communication and excellent care was spot on. Buckles says thank you!

My pit boy who is undergoing chemo was struggling to urinate so I brought him to Shawnee Vet Hospital on a Saturday morning. All I can say WOW! Very thorough, professional, knowledgeable, and so kind. I will not hesitate to ever use them again. If I didn't already have an established vet I would be taking all of my animals here regularly.
