Roosevelt Animal Hospital

We’ve been going to this vet for the last two years and always enjoy our experience here. Our dog also enjoys it here and always seems to feel at ease when they take her to the back. Highly recommended! Great folks, great veterinarians. Also looks really nice inside, and they have free coffee & water available. On our most recent visit, we had an appointment with Dr. Kabir and he was incredibly helpful!!

They take such loving, attentive care of my babies, Freya (dog) and Pie (cat), and it genuinely shows how much the entire team cares about the animals they serve. During a recent stressful situation, they were calm, thorough, and incredibly kind which is exactly what I need when my fur babies needs care. The clinic itself is small, clean, and welcoming, and every interaction we’ve had has felt personal rather than rushed. The staff clearly love animals, and they take the time to explain what’s going on and make sure both pets and people feel reassured. I’m so grateful to have a veterinary clinic nearby that I trust completely. Freya absolutely adores them, and so do I.

I have taken my Mini Aussie to Roosevelt Animal Hospital many times for urinary tract infections and have had satisfactory experiences. Today was a disaster. She was brought in for an acute infection. The vet on staff seemed to be new or filling in for someone. His name is Kabir Dhadda. He prescribed Amoxicillin. In the past she was prescribed an antibiotic that they had in stock at the hospital. They did not have Amoxicillin in stock and said we could pick it up at any pharmacy. The dosage for a dog of her size is 100 mg. This is not supplied at pharmacies because that is not a proper dose for humans. I called every pharmacy in my area. The response was the same we don’t have that antibiotic at that dosage. I call back Roosevelt animal hospital only to be put on hold for an hour. When they finally got back to me they said they called in a prescription at Costco in Shoreline. They didn’t bother to tell me that the dosage was 875 mg. We have to cut this huge pill in quarters to give her a dose. Problem is the pill crumbles when you cut it. The handling of our situation was unacceptable . The least they could of done was explain that we would have to purchase a much higher dose and then send me to one of the multitudes of pharmacies in Seattle rather than 20 minutes north. Needless to say we will not work with them again.

I have had such good experiences each time I've taken my pup here! Staff is always so friendly, kind, and communicative. My pup has some anxiety and they worked with him to make him as comfortable as he could be during his visit.

The care team and staffs here were so professional, kind and patient! They quickly diagnosed my kitten’s ear infection and applied med for him. After visits, they always followed up to welcome any questions and I have received honest feedback. I also appreciated that they were willing to explain pricing and options whenever I asked before implementing them. Will certainly recommend this hospital for other pet lovers! p.s. My kitten loved exploring the clinic room and treats they gave him.

Roosevelt Animal Hospital is the best vet I have ever been to! They review all costs with you 100% transparently before they deliver any services, they have such a sweet approach with my dog who is extremely anxious in these environments - I have never seen a vet be so sweet to my dog. The office staff is so friendly, the clinic is immaculate and modern. And I just love them!

Bedside manner here is phenomenal. Both the veterinary assistant and director (Gabby & Stacy) assisted me and my dog when he was having tummy troubles. They sat down on the ground with him as he was quite bouncy and allowed for both of us to feel comfortable; walking me through treatment, provided additional testing details that could be done but did feel pressured to do them. I’ll definitely be coming back whenever my baby boy needs treatment or checkups.
