Sports Vet Animal Medical Center

I wanted to come on here and leave a review about my experience at sportsvet. I have a 2 year old rottie mix and he’s had hip/joint issues since he was a puppy. In November he had his left ACL repaired and then today, he had his right ACL repaired. This has been a tough year for us. I’m a single mom of a 2 year old, and I have 3 dogs who I love very much. Jamar, my rottie, is my baby. I’d do anything for him and I’m so grateful for my experience at sportsvet. Whether it was my child screaming in the lobby, my spill of questions or anything I have needed. They have overly exceeded my expectations, I’m so thankful for everyone at sportsvet. Thank you for everything you’ve done for my fur baby.

SportsVet provided outstanding medical care to our dog Jax. Surgery was scheduled quickly and their support with aftercare was 5Star! I am impressed by the ortho techs and our Doctor. Thank you all so much!

This is our second dog we have taken to Dr Steve for new knees. Our first dog was over 10years ago and when we took our second dog Dr Steve remembered us and gave us the same excellent care as the first time. The staff is 100% animal lovers and welcome your pets with open arms. Dr Sreve is amazing. He gave both our dogs a better quality of life after their knees went out. The journey to recovery is long but they are with you every step of the way. Words are not enough to thank them for all that they do. Thank you so very much for loving our pets as much as we love our pets.

So happy we found Dr. Turek and her fabulous tech, Michelle, at Sportsvet! I am so impressed by the combination of skills they both possess; knowledgeable, passionate about providing care for pets and communicative/compassionate with humans, too. The facility is clean and reception is organized and friendly. The cost of care is competitive and totally reasonable. 100% will keep bringing our 2 kitties here! Thanks, Sportsvet:)

I have trusted the vets for the care of my fur babies for over eight years. My babies are always so happy to come see their doctor and the groomer. Guinness recently came in for his yearly exam and boosters and just as it always is, we were greeted with smiles. Sports Vet hires the right people and makes every visit easy. I love how they have grooming, boarding, and vet care under one roof. Thank you for helping me keep Guinness healthy and strong. In March he will be celebrating his 10th birthday!

Eighteen weeks post TPLO surgery, Indy J and I are writing this review from Acadia National Park, Maine. There are not enough positive things to say about the entire staff and process at Sports Vet Medical Center. I never thought we would make it here, but after finding Dr. Jacobs and Dr. Dillon I felt confident that I was finally in the right hands. They urged me to stick to the after surgery rehab protocol and if so, Indy would make a full recovery. I will admit, I was initially quite scared/terrified about all of this. Indy was just days past her 9th birthday at the time of her surgery. I was worried about her rehab potential even though she has always been healthy and active. Dr. Jacobs took all necessary precautions and assured me that she was safe for surgery. I knew this had to be done to ever continue our travels. The first few weeks were NOT easy, but we worked hard and had 100% success! The surgeons and staff are all top notch. A big shout out to Conner who was so incredibly helpful. I can never thank everyone at Sports Vet enough. You were there through every step of the way. All the questions, concerns, fears and tears. You fixed my baby and I am forever grateful. We wouldn't be here without you.

My dog was referred to Dr Jacobs for a luxated patella. All staff members were kind and professional both in person and over the phone when scheduling. The environment was welcoming and the lobby was nice and clean. Dr Jacobs reviewed the xray and exam findings with me then we discussed his recommendations/appropriate treatment options. The treatment plan was discussed thoroughly, all questions were answered and I left feeling reassured.
