I would highly recommend this place to take your animal too. Making calls all day trying to get the right needs for my fur child. I was honestly losing hope with vets until someone recommended this place. I called and the women on the phone listened and was concerned about my fur child and already knew what was needed. I didn’t even know she was the manager. She was so nice. She got me an appointment and went in and the staff was AMAZING. Everyone acknowledged you and was just so gentle with your animal and making you feel comfortable. They work with you and your fur child. I would love to continue with them if my fur baby needs anything else cause I know Reeds himself and his staff, everyone there has a big heart with animals and will do what they can to help. This is the place . Thank you 😃

Dr. Garrison was incredibly kind and sweet when I brought my dog in. I was distressed as he was having difficulty moving. The team at Reed got me in for a day-of appointment. Service was prompt. And I felt that Dr. Garrison genuinely cared about my dog, Django. We are new patients of this practice but service has been really positive so far. Thanks!

The best place to bring your pet. The staff is super friendly and caring to both humans and animals. Dr.Reed is compassionate and very thorough. He listens to me when I have concerns about my babygirl and now he oversees my grandmas little old lady Chihuahua as well. You can trust your pet is in good hands here.

The team at Reed Animal Hospital in Saratoga stepped in with such compassion and openness during a very difficult time. Dr. Reed, Sarah, Mariah, Ana, and everyone else we interacted with treated us with kindness and respect, and made sure Chloe’s final moments were peaceful. A Cautionary Tale of Greed, Negligence, and Heartbreak – Avoid Reed Animal Hospital at All Costs If you value your pet’s life, do not take them to Reed Animal Hospital. I say this after years of being a loyal client who brought all five of my dogs here, trusting that the premium prices reflected quality care. What I eventually learned — in the most painful way imaginable — is that this clinic is driven not by compassion or competence, but by greed, negligence, and a shocking lack of integrity. Dr. Reed and his staff performed an unauthorized surgery on my dog while I was overseas, without my consent or knowledge. I had been told they would conduct a biopsy to assess a benign testicular tumor. Instead, Dr. Reed decided to proceed with a full surgical removal — a reckless, unilateral decision that cost my dog his life. To make matters worse, they billed my American Express over $2,000 while I was still out of the country, as though nothing was wrong. My dog was already on heart medication prescribed by Dr. Reed himself. That fact alone should have made him ineligible for surgery without a cardiologist present. Yet, I later learned that no cardiologist was in the room, and that the anesthesia administered was excessive for a dog with his heart condition. The procedure was completely unnecessary, done without adequate preparation, and ultimately fatal. I returned home from Asia on an emergency flight, thousands of dollars out of pocket, to find my beloved 11-year-old Shih Tzu/Maltipoo gasping for air. Within 24 hours, I had to make the unbearable decision to put him down — something the emergency hospital told me was a direct result of Reed Animal Hospital’s gross negligence. Dr. Reed and his staff were fully aware of what happened. There was no apology, no accountability, just another charge to my credit card. Between pre-visit tests, "follow-ups," and the unauthorized surgery, they pocketed over $3,000 — blood money earned by cutting corners and betraying trust. Over the years, my family has spent tens of thousands of dollars at this clinic, believing that the steep costs meant top-tier care. I now see it for what it truly is: a polished business built on upselling, overcharging, and underdelivering. When things went wrong, Dr. Reed was nowhere to be found. It is beyond comprehension that a professional could make so many critical errors, show zero empathy, and still feel entitled to keep the money. Any reputable practitioner — any decent human being — would have refunded every cent and offered a sincere apology. Instead, Reed Animal Hospital chose silence and self-preservation. If you’re reading this and thinking of trusting them with your pet’s care, please — don’t. Find a clinic where your pet is treated like a life, not a revenue stream. Reed Animal Hospital has lost all credibility, compassion, and conscience. Their negligence robbed me and my family of precious years with our dog. Shame on Dr. Reed and his staff.
