I had a dental emergency with my pet recently, after no help from the first vet, we were able to schedule an appointment the day of and have my pet seen shortly after. Everyone was kind, office was clean. Thankful for all the workers there. Upon receiving the estimate I was stressed about the price. We were recommended to try Cherry which lifted a ton of stress off my shoulders! Our dog was treated and sent home with everything we needed to start her recovery.

Had an emergency with our kitten at the very end of the day, during a snowstorm. They got us in right away and performed x-rays, administered pain medication, offered PT suggestions and helped us with everything needed to hold us over and expedite our referral afterward to an orthopedic specialist. They were thorough, extremely accommodating and happen to have some of the most animal-loving, best team members one can hope to be treated by, who we knew from another top Santa Fe hospital a decade ago! Dr. Avila, thank you for your superb care! ...and it was was such a happy surprise to see Jared, Andrea and Dr. Trujillo there! I highly recommend taking your pet here. The entire staff was incredibly attentive, compassionate, and caring toward both our dog and our family. They conducted a thorough examination and were completely transparent about the costs from the beginning. From the moment we walked through the door until the time we left, everyone treated us with kindness, patience, and professionalism. What truly stood out was their commitment to follow-up care—they called to check on our dog's progress and even asked us to send photos of the healing process before the next appointment. Their level of care and attention to detail exceeded our expectations. We are extremely grateful for the excellent service and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.

I brought my cat, Bean, yesterday (1/2/26) in for a swollen jaw. I booked an appointment online around 9am and quickly got a text saying I’m in line and it’d be a 3-4 hour wait. I stayed home until I got a text saying to come in and was promptly seen when I arrived. They spent 10-15 minutes with her in the exam room getting her comfy and examining her. Bean was very calm and I really appreciated how kindly she was treated. The staff and vet were very kind and it really put a lot of my own anxiety at ease. They gave me very upfront and transparent estimates for her care and even called me today to see how she was doing. I went ahead and scheduled her dental procedure with them. Other vets in the area were going to charge the same rates but none can see her until Jan 16th… highly recommend this place if your regular vet can’t squeeze you in.

It was my first time here and the staff gave me the most friendly and welcoming experience. They truly do care about your pet. They were very accommodating. It was a long wait but they allow you to wait at your house with your pet and when I was running late to get back they were very patient. Towards the end, one of the staff went to their car to grab a phone charger for me. The next day I was surprised to get a call from them because they wanted to check to see how my dog was doing. Super caring and super professional. They do everything they can to ease the stress of a sick pet for you. Felt like I was at a friend’s house than a vet clinic. Highly recommend!

I usually do not write reviews but I just had to for this urgent care center. I worked as a veterinary nurse for over 20 years and I am also a Veterinary Social Worker. This facility is exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about my experience. Clean, organized, professional, compassionate and kind. The attention paid to my dog, was truly above and beyond! Thank you all for providing such wonderful care for my beloved! You’re the best!

I had a very positive experience here. Dr. Karen Avila was kind, knowledgeable, and made me feel confident about Valentina’s care. Chris from the nursing team was great! I was impressed by how meticulous and attentive he was in understanding and documenting the full situation before Val saw Dr. Avila. He was thoughtful, detail-oriented, and took the time to truly listen. So from the start I knew she would be in good hands, which was reassuring to me! Anna at the front desk was welcoming and helpful. I really appreciated how smoothly everything was run. The process from check-in, to care, and leaving felt very organized, efficient, and thoughtful.
