Veterinary Specialty Hospital - North County

I brought my dog Katy in after (2) fainting spells within hours of each other due to her heart murmur and difficulty breathing. Within 10 minutes, she was taken in and immediately set up with oxygen and and IV with medication. The care she received there for the next 18 hours was amazing and I was able to get regular updates from the attending vets on duty watching over her. When I visited her at the oxygen chamber, I saw how the staff tended to all the patient pets and was very impressed and felt very relieved she was in good hands! I can't express how grateful I am that they took such good care of her and hoping she's on the mend and able to function as normal as possible for a few more years.

Took my dog in for a cardiology appointment. This was her first as she has a stage five heart murmur with a thrill. Everybody treated me and my dog with courtesy and respect. Everything was explained thoroughly to me. I highly recommend this place!

The overall visit was incredible from the car my dog received, from the kindness and honesty from the Dr. and the time they all took to help with my "baby" and care for my worries and wallet. From the consult to the day of surgery, what a phenomenal staff! They were very good at keeping me updated with photos and phone calls to let me know how my Bodie was doing. They treated Bodie like their own. It’s clear that this is their passion, not just a job. I can’t say enough good things about our experience with these exceptional team members. The staff are super kind and were able to squeeze my dog Taco in the day I called. Taco hates the vet but he let the nurses pick him up and take care of him thank you. Not a picture of when he was sick (that's too sad) but him durping out while he sleeps

I have a 10-year-old French bulldog, that was experiencing a number of issues and was in pain. The staff was experienced, compassionate and took the time to review and thoroughly address all aspects of his care. Dr.Sara Hermanson is amazing and has earned a grateful dog & family’s appreciation for life!
