Banfield Pet Hospital

It was my first time visiting this Banfield location, and I have to say the staff was amazing from beginning to end. From Ashley at the front desk, to Dr. Park, and all of the vet assistants working that day, everyone treated us with so much kindness and care. I brought my cat Leo for his annual check-up, vaccines, and general wellness exam, and everything went smoothly. During the visit, I ended up enrolling him in the Active Care Plus plan, and I really appreciated how patient and informative the team was. They answered every single one of my questions, which made me feel much more comfortable making that decision. That same day, Leo received his vaccines, blood work, and everything he needed, and honestly, they treated my fluffy little baby with so much love and attention. You can tell they genuinely care about animals and their owners. We left feeling very well taken care of, and we’ll definitely be back in a couple of months for his next check-up. Thank you again to the whole team for taking such good care of my handsome boy 🐾✨

We’ve been taking Waffles to Banfield on Brokaw Rd for his regular checkups and whenever he hasn’t been feeling well, and the care has always been amazing. Dr. Jihyun Kim, Dr. Lara Ann Martinez, and the entire staff are incredibly kind, patient, and gentle with him. One thing that says a lot — Waffles never complains or gets anxious about going there. He’s always comfortable with the team, which means everything to us as pet parents. They were able to detect his B12 deficiency and helped him recover from recurring stomach issues that had been bothering him for a long time. They also took wonderful care of him during his neutering procedure, and he healed surprisingly fast afterward. We’re really grateful for the level of attention, compassion, and professionalism they show every visit. Highly recommend this Banfield team for anyone looking for vets who truly care about their pets.

The staff here are truly wonderful. Every time I bring my cat, Sassy, in, they greet her by name and treat her like one of their own. As a cat mom to a 14-year-old tuxedo princess, that level of care and attention means everything to me. I’ve been to several veterinary offices over the years, and this is the first place where I’ve never felt pressured into unnecessary treatments. The team is respectful, transparent, and genuinely focused on what’s best for your pet. I also really appreciate their health packages, which are tailored to your pet’s age and needs—especially helpful for senior cats like Sassy. On top of that, their app is very easy to use, well-organized, and makes scheduling appointments and accessing records simple and stress-free. They also offer new client discounts, which is a great bonus. I highly recommend them to any pet parent looking for a caring and trustworthy veterinary team.

We’ve spent thousands here and left really frustrated. Our dog was diagnosed with pneumonia at this location. We followed every recommendation — X-rays, medication, follow-ups — and spent over $2k. The follow-up vet told us she was mostly healed and likely didn’t need more imaging. Later, we scheduled a dental cleaning and showed up early, missing work, only to be told they wouldn’t do it because "she still has pneumonia." Apparently, the improvement was never properly documented. When we tried to explain that we completed treatment with them, the vet told us: "No doctor would be comfortable treating your dog in this condition." That was honestly shocking, considering we followed all of their medical advice and paid for the treatment there. To make matters worse, we were encouraged to upgrade our wellness plan for imaging coverage without clearly understanding that it resets a 12-month contract. Now they want over $1,000 just to cancel. Between poor documentation, dismissive communication, and being locked into an expensive plan, this has been a really disappointing experience. I’d be very cautious about signing up for a wellness plan here.

Our dog had an appt at 8 but the employees didn’t get there til after 805..:was going to write a bad review because the First Lady obviously did not know what she was doing however Priscilla came out & handled us with such care, impact & empathy. I truly appreciate a worker like her cuz my dog was stressed waiting an extra 30 min (on anesthesia so he can’t eat after 12) she was the best Banfield employee I have EVER encountered..plus she had hella cool black/blue hair 🦑 12/10

Longterm treatment with no clear diagnosis - Disappointing Experience My dog was treated at this Banfield location for over a year for chronic skin issues. Every month, we were told to return for Cytopoint injections, but no clear diagnosis was ever given. Despite repeated symptoms, no deeper tests (like allergy panels or skin scrapings) were offered. We also had recurring ear infections. Each follow-up still charged a full visit fee, even when the previous treatment failed. On one occasion, my dog came home flinching when touched near the ear, which made me concerned about how he was handled. We’ve since switched clinics and are re-evaluating his case. Sharing this so others can ask better questions and seek second opinions early.
