Irving Pet Hospital

Dr. Fong has taken care of all 3 of my pugs over the past 8 years. He’s the best. Honest, knowledgeable, and truly cares about animals. I’ve been to several vets in SF, and it’s hard to find one that doesn’t try to upsell/overcharge. Another reason we love coming here!

My dog Ricky has been going to Irving Pet Hospital for 5 years now.. We see Dr. Fong and his is so good with Ricky and makes him feel less anxious and able to get exams/ treatments. Dr. Fong has done his neutering, teeth cleaning / teeth extractions, his yearly exams and allergy shots. Ryan was our tech today and he was able to give Ricky a shot with out him even knowing. Cannot recommend Irving Pet Hospital enough!

Been going to Irving pet hospital for all 12 years of my pups lives. Dr. Fong is fabulous. He clearly loves his work, is above excellent in his clinical acumen . The support staff has been consistently kind/attentive and professional. I highly recommend IPH.

Dr. Clark had an unwelcoming bedside manner. I scheduled a simple vaccine appointment, and this was clearly communicated both at booking and upon her entering the room. Despite this, she proceeded with a full routine exam without confirming my consent. Throughout the visit, she asked pointed questions that could have been answered through my dog’s existing records, implying negligence on my part. My dog has been a patient at this practice since puppyhood and has consistently received regular care, vaccinations, and follow-ups. When I paused to consult my partner about an optional vaccine, Dr. Clark stated, "well, I guess some people don’t care about the health of their pets." This was inappropriate and unprofessional. At no point did she ask whether I wanted to proceed with a full exam instead of the scheduled vaccine-only visit. The front desk also did not clarify this until I received the invoice. My dog is well cared for, insured, and regularly seen. We ultimately chose to leave this practice due to how we were treated, despite its strong reputation.

Irving Pet Hospital is great. Dr. Silverman is the best ever. My dog Felix needed surgery and they did a great job. And great communication. I'm so happy I found them.

The Irving Pet Hospital was so accommodating in making sure my pup, Ruby, could get seen ASAP. The staff was friendly and patient, even though it was the end of the day and patients were still coming and going! Ruby and I are very thankful for the help we received during our visit.

My experience at Irving Pet hospital has been a positive one, the staff schedule clinical drop in appointments quickly based on urgency of needs, they are genuinely concerned and so affectionate to my pets. My pet is comfortable & receives lots of attention. I appreciate your TLC qualities!
