had such a great experience at this clinic. I brought my dog in with several skin issues, and I was honestly worried about his condition. From the very beginning, the team was incredibly attentive, caring, and knowledgeable. They not only treated him during the visit, but also provided a complete treatment plan for me to continue at home. I could see improvement very quickly, and his recovery has been going so well ever since. You can truly tell they care about the animals and take the time to do things right. The level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail is outstanding. I’m so grateful I found this place and would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for high-quality care for their pets.

Nothing against the staff members, they were so sweet and definitely seemed to be compassionate towards my cat. However, unless you are truly tight on funds please don’t take your animal here.. this was very traumatic for me and my cat. They are low cost clinic so they take a high number of pets to do surgery on in a single day. There were over 30 cats there when I was dropping off and the dogs are dropped off earlier so I don’t even know how many dogs were there, however in the 8 hours I find it incredibly disheartening to even consider doing 50+ surgeries in one day in a 8 hour period. My cat was left in his cage on a shelf before surgery for who knows how long with no water, and then stuffed back in his small crate after surgery. I picked him up completely saturated in his own urine and poop. And even after five days he is scared to come out of hiding and has been completely different. He was incredibly traumatized and I will personally never take another pet here just for the price. My pets wellbeing is way more important and I’m disappointed in myself for using this clinic to save money.

Why can't I give this place of "business"ZERO stars? Take your fur baby to the SD Humane Society Vet Clinic, where you'll receive actual affordable, decent, honest service. You will be quoted $550, "no hidden fees." I paid $750. Good thing I checked the box "call before doing extractions" (make sure you do this) bc I received a call from Crystal & was quoted over $3300. Granted, my cat has a lot going on with his teeth, hence the $750 dental appointment. I asked which extractions would be absolutely necessary. She puts me on a brief hold to ask the doctor & comes back with "the doctor would like to know how much you have to work with and is willing to work with that." The audacity. Never met the doctor; who is the doctor? Conveniently hiding behind their poor staff. At least most of them were decent; most likely dying of embarrassment of how this establishment is ran. I received a call at 11AM, after dropping my cat off at 7:30 AM with the hellacious $3K quote. I was told I'd be given a call back within the next couple hours to pick him up. Nobody ever called me back. Good thing I showed up by 5PM because they were wondering why I didn't come, followed by embarrassment & endless apologies for not following through with a call to pick him up. I did you all a favor by wasting my money here and posting this review so you don't have to.

Staff is friendly and they take good care of your friend in need at an affordable rate. I have a large breed dog and some places would not spay him because of his size.they took him in no problem.

A big shout out to everyone here at the clinic... they're awesome, especially Julia and Raquel! That couldn't have been more kind and helpful. We had a pair of kittens spayed and neutered recently, they took great care of them. Thanks so much guys! 😊

The price is good and my pup was ready in 5 hours. The staff was great and super nice. My only issue: my appointment was at 8am, they don't open until 8:30am, I was 1st in line but they had the medicated pups 1st(which I understand), but then they called the female dogs in next and made our wait much longer. So they didn't take my pup in until about 9am. I just wish it would have explained that process on their site so I could plan better. Aside from that, I had a great experience there.

tldr: overall happy with my spay experience for my 6 month old puppy. thank you to the staff that are able to keep this place running! the price i payed was comparable to sd humane- with optional care included! i would recommend this place if you understand this is a high volume, low cost clinic and are able to discern which add-ons are necessary, if any, for your dog. if you’ve chosen to get your dog fixed here: come prepared knowing you’ll have to leave time to find parking, that everyone checks in at 8:30, and that you’ll need your current vaccinations at hand. i’d recommend printing and filling out the paper work at home and planning to arrive at 8am so you can park in the lot. they will explain aftercare to you at pickup. checkup exams are not necessary, but are free within the first two weeks of the surgery. if you are still thinking about committing, consider: - will your dog need fluids during surgery? - will your dog need famotidine & metoclopramide, or cerenia during surgery, or trazodone after? - is your dog up to date on vaccines? - is your dog on a prescription flea & tick preventative? (necessary, will incur fees for tablet if not) - is your dog in heat? (will incur fees) - is your dog aggressive, or possibly unfit to receive anesthesia? (may be denied after an exam fee) - in the unlikely event of an emergency, what should the vets do? - any extra services are totally optional, and if you want to keep the cost low, just say no! they’re offering additional services for your convenience since your dog will already be in veterinary care: nail trim, bloodwork, microchip, extra vaccines, dewormer, etc. the route i chose: we don’t have an e collar at home. my pup is healthy and up to date with vaccines and flea & tic meds, but has a history of dehydration. i wanted to keep her comfy but balance the price of the service, so i chose: + e collar $20 + extra care (fluids) $40 + cerenia $60 these add-ons plus the base price of $165 came out to be $263. (sd humane: $230.)
