ABC Veterinary Hospital Pacific Beach

I am so glad I decided to come see the team at ABC Vet! Maxie (my ACD) and I have had to move around a bit the last few years and have had care from various facilities around San Diego that we weren't thrilled with. I asked a zillion people who they use and so many recommendations came back for ABC from people I really trust. I didn't feel like they rushed me out, they were interested in Maxie's backstory, temperament, and were so sweet to her (she's a bit shy). I felt like she was being well looked after and I was kept well informed of what was happening, when, and why. They also didn't try to upsell me on a bunch of services that we didn't need, which I really appreciate. I know everything is a business, but pet owners want to feel like their pet it actually being care for, not just sold products. Literally everyone was so awesome! The front desk was super nice (and there was a queue that formed and delivery people, and ramps needed, and phone calls, and a dog owner who didn't seem to have the concept that he was in a public space....?) and she handled everything really well. The vet techs were super communicative and patient with my girl and Dr Sayers was so kind and helpful. Overall kind, communicative staff, who made me feel heard and like I was getting excellent care for my pet.

ABC vet is amazing! All of the staff are extremely happy and kind. The office is always clean and welcoming. My cat Goose has seen Dr. Sayers three times now and she remembered him and all of his previous visits which means so much. Could not recommend them more!

I pretty much live my vet. They have done a great job helping me manage my animals over the years. My little old dog just had some surgery and she is doing really well! I would absolutely recommend these guys to anyone looking for a vet. The doctors are great, the front counter staff are lovely, and everyone always makes my visits go well.

I had a wonderful experience at ABC Veterinary Hospital! The staff was amazing. Friendly, kind, attentive and truly compassionate. From the moment my dog Finn and I arrived, everyone went out of their way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. BEST CLINIC IN SAN DIEGO. ABC in Pb has been so great to our family. With an aging cat and dog we have had to deal with a lot of issues. Dr. Z and her team truly care and take the time to guide us and make sure we are comfortable through every step. Dealing with a terminally ill pet has been devastating, but our beloved practice gave our fur baby comfort and vitality during the last season of his life. We could not have gone through this phase without ABC. Our dog receives acupuncture (one of the only spots in town for this), and she has responded beautifully. We even started up agility classes with her again! Her treatment plan and blend of eastern medicine has worked wonders. I can’t say enough great things about this place. It’s clean, the staff are great, and the doctors are top notch. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for an amazing local, NON-Corporate, family-owned vet practice.

Super happy with my experiences here. I have a really reactive GSD that isn’t great with people or dogs and they’re very accommodating despite it all! Special shoutout to Dr. Noppinger who stayed in the room with us for a while chatting/asking questions at our first appointment. After she was done examining my dog he relaxed enough to flop over while she was in the room!

ABC's staff, veterinarians, techs and front desk, are always exceptional. For the past 7 years we've been bringing a (shared) dog and my cat to their practice. The veterinarians are always so caring to both humans and our pets, and have the best, up-to-date care. Both of our pets have had their routine dentals here, and I was pleasantly surprised they do an EKG on older (8+) kitties prior to anesthesia, which is a fantastic health check! I'd almost taken my cat to Banfield for her dental, but didn't have the same quality experience yet the prices at ABC were similar and reasonable, with much better services to the pets. We also brought a pregnant dog in, before and after she had puppies. The vet/owner was incredible in coaching us through that crazy experience, and reassured us we were doing everything right. Here's my kitty, high as a kite, after her dental ...she always seems relaxed at ABC clinic, with or without the happy-kitty-drugs!
