I’ve brought my sassy cat here twice and have had no issues with the vet or staff! Everyone has been very kind to me and my diva cat (she can be mean to people she doesn’t know and everyone has been so gentle with her). The clinic and staff have all communicated clearly with me, I’ve never felt rushed during a visit, and they’ve been extremely helpful when I called with questions/concerns. My friend recommended this vet clinic to me and I would also recommend this clinic to anyone else! When I brought in my furbaby for a same day/walk-in visit, they were up front with prices and they were cheaper than another emergency vet I was considering going to!

Always a great experience bringing my pets here. They do their best to make sure my animals are comfortable, not stressed and well taken care of! Everyone who works here has been so welcoming and friendly (which isn’t always the case at most vet offices!) Their prices are reasonable and they never try to push for any additional services, which is a huge plus. Overall, it’s been a great experience for my pets and myself during our appointments!

Im looking for my dog Romeo and the staff here was so sweet and concerned it gave me a lot of hope to find him. They even posted his Pic and my number in case he is found. Thank you!

Dr. Burton and her staff care for my pets like they were part of their own family. The always take the time to ensure that they are skillfully diagnosed and treated with the greatest care and at very reasonable prices. They always do their best to get patient in for visits as quickly as possible and offer an urgent care during their off hours. 10 out of 10 for everyone in the clinic.

The best place available out of every facility of urgent care offered in the salt lake area from rose park to cottonwood heights. The best people. Carrying, full disclosure, printed prices, I was allowed to create the patient plan to keep in line with what I could afford. Clean, professional, kind, beautiful art work in the lobby, receptionist, tech and Dr. all resonated with the same purpose of true animal care of the loved humans that share their life. Thank you!!!

WOW here’s an update on my previous review just received a notice my dog they put to sleep is due for her rabies shot????? My wife called the office and they told her they didn’t have a record of putting my PTSD dog to sleep!!!! This place should be out of business and never allowed to treat any animals. I wonder now about my dog what did they do with her??? Awful!!! Cliff Guenther

I am writing this review to share multiple experiences with this clinic that raise serious concerns about both urgency of care and quality of recommendations. Most recently, I brought my cat here because this clinic is advertised as urgent care. She had been exposed to lily pollen, which is a well-documented veterinary emergency for cats. When I arrived, I was not acknowledged immediately and was asked to wait while staff continued a conversation unrelated to patient intake. Given the time-sensitive nature of toxic ingestions, this was concerning. Once seen, the doctor did not treat the situation as an emergency and stated that treatment would only be necessary once symptoms appeared. I was told they would monitor kidney values with bloodwork over the next few days. When I explained that lily toxicity requires preventative treatment before symptoms occur (such as decontamination and IV fluids), the doctor stated she was unfamiliar with parts of this protocol and said she needed to "do some research." At that point, I did not feel comfortable proceeding and chose to leave. I went to a nearby animal ER. As soon as I walked in and said "my cat ingested lily pollen," they immediately recognized it as an emergency, asked how long ago the exposure occurred, and began appropriate treatment right away to protect her kidneys. The contrast in response was striking! Unfortunately, this was not my first concerning experience here. Previously, I brought my dog in for a bump on her paw. I was advised to pursue a surgery quoted at approximately $3,000, with limited explanation. I later sought a second opinion elsewhere and was able to resolve the issue with a necessary surgery costing under $900, with far clearer communication and a much better overall experience. Additionally, during that visit, I was told my dog would need extensive pre-operative bloodwork without the provider reviewing her chart, which showed she had undergone surgery just a few months prior with normal results. This lack of chart review left me feeling uncomfortable and unsupported. My dog also previously had fatty tumors removed at this clinic, and the surgical outcome left significant scarring and tissue trauma that, in hindsight, seemed excessive compared to later procedures performed elsewhere. I understand that this clinic is urgent care and not a full emergency hospital. However, urgent care should still be able to recognize true emergencies, respond appropriately, or clearly and immediately refer out when something is beyond their scope. Based on my experiences, I would strongly recommend pet owners go directly to an animal ER for time-sensitive emergencies or seek second opinions for major procedures. I am sharing this review so other pet owners can make informed decisions in critical moments.
