This was my first experience with VCA of Saginaw, (well any VCA pet Clinic) if they are representative of the franchise they are doing a great job. The staff was friendly and professional. They got me in quickly(I did have an appointment) But, they were also taking walking in and working them in where they could. They evaluated my 2 girl dogs and gave them a clean bill of health, their shots and prescribed flea and tick treatment. They also discussed treatment plans and told me about their own pet insurance policy that seemed pretty reasonable. Thank you VCA for the courteous service we will be back.
When taking a animal to the vet... You expect to pay.. over 1000 on one animal. Payed 923 for shots, neuter, ect... they seemed plenty happy to take my money... the vets are nice.. kind of ignore things when you mention them. But the secretaries the ones taking the payments... beyond rude... it breaks my heart because Ive sworn by VCA for years for many pets. After the way I was treated I dont know that I would ever step foot in again..
This vet is the sweetest and kindest place I have ever been to. In December of 2019, my childhood cat was sick and passing away; and while they didn't take walk ins, they made an exception for me. I was 18 and in distress. Not only did they treat me with kindness but my cat with kindness. I have never forgotten or will ever forget what they did for me. This review might be late but the care they showed me will be with me for the rest of my life. Thank you so much.
They very friendly and knowledgeable. They all very patient with my senior dog Gretel who has arthritis and sometimes it’s hard for her to walk on the tiled floor. They go out of their way to accommodate her. I’m so glad we found this place!
I don’t understand these bad reviews. We’ve been here several times for my cat and dog. My cat was severely hurt in a fight, and my dog has eye issues and needed some masses removed. We love Dr. Lanier, and all of the staff. We’re more of a natural remedy, wait and watch family, and feed our dog homemade dog food. Dr. Lanier is kind, compassionate, understanding and respectful. We’ve had nothing but good experiences here. I recommend VCA to everyone.
We’re not from here and had a scare with my baby Kahlua getting sick out of nowhere. They were kind enough to see us last minute, even though we’re not established patients. Being away from home in that situation is stressful, but they made it so much easier. Everyone was kind, patient, and truly helpful. My family and Kahlua are very grateful we found them when we needed it most.
We have brought our dogs to vets around the area from Keller to Lake Worth trying to find the right fit. Privately owned practices to chains like VCA, but haven’t found one that we felt really clicks with our standards. I’m super glad we gave VCA a chance! We specifically had Dr. Imken and Amanda helping us with Shino. They were very patient with her anxiety and went the extra mile of calculating how much calories she should be eating😊 We felt Shino was very taken care of, they were patient with her, and friendly. We will be establishing care with our second dog soon😊
