If your pet is chaotic, anxious, dramatic, all of the above, or the chillest thing on 4 legs—Hartrick can handle it, and will work with you to make it happen. They’re patient, compassionate, and weirdly good at calming both pets and their stressed-out owners. We left feeling educated, reassured, and slightly embarrassed that my dog now has a bigger fan club than I do. Highly recommend ♥️

Dr. Dodge and the entire team were truly amazing! Dr. Dodge was knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly supportive every step of the way, and their communication was outstanding throughout the entire process. It’s honestly so hard to find a vet who is experienced and willing to help with international health certificates, and I feel incredibly lucky to have found them. Dr. Dodge made what could have been a very stressful process feel manageable, always keeping me informed and answering every question I had! I’m so grateful for their care and dedication for my pup. I would absolutely recommend Hartrick Vet Clinic to anyone in Michigan without hesitation. I’ll definitely be stopping by again when I’m back in Michigan just to say a proper thank you. I was relieved to be able to make a next-day appointment when my cat was exhibiting unusual behavior, & I was impressed by the clinic having a separate waiting area for cats. The vet tech & the veterinarian were very kind & professional & made sure to explain things & state treatment options clearly & give prices before any services were performed. I was really happy with the level of care my cat received & would have no problem recommending Hartrick to anyone looking for a veterinary clinic for their pet.

The staff at Hartrick are the best. I’ve been taking my pets to them for 14 years and they always treat them with such kindness and respect. I have referred several people to them because I’ve tried other vets and none of them compare to the staff at Hartrick. The prices are reasonable and it’s easy to get an appointment. Don’t hesitate to put your trust in them to treat your pet like a member of their family!

Best vet experience I've had after previously owning a dog, new to owning a cat. They were very accommodating and using fear free methods to give our new cat shots and get blood work. Very informative and helpful with my new experience.

This clinic is fantastic. I had a recently adopted dog that I was concerned had a fever in the morning. I made an appointment in the afternoon. He was better but wanted to get his temperature. I went and the technician took it and it was normal. They gave me the option to cancel the appointment. I really appreciated that since he really didn’t need to be seen. So kind

I just brought my new 9-week-old mini dachshund puppy, Mabel, to Hartrick Veterinary in Royal Oak for the first time, and the experience was absolutely wonderful. I contacted 10+ veterinary offices in the area, and Hartrick was the best option in my opinion. The environment felt calm and welcoming, Mabel slept through most of the visit. Even though there was a short wait, it was clear how busy they were and it was absolutely worth it. Dana, our vet tech, was phenomenal, so friendly, knowledgeable, and gentle with Mabel. Dr. Brady did a thorough exam, patiently answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond to calm my new puppy-parent anxieties. I feel that my pup is in really great hands here. The pricing is also very reasonable. We got sent home with some flea/tick meds, something I did not even think about getting (I didn’t even have to ask for it). Thank you! Highly recommend.
