Vista Vet - Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge

I absolutely love this vet! I literally drove 4.5 hours just to bring my dog back to them because they are so wonderful with him, especially since he gets a bit anxious at the vet. I’ve been trying to find a new vet closer to where I live, but I haven’t had much luck. What I appreciate most is that they truly listen to my concerns and take the time to explain procedures, recommendations, and treatment options thoroughly. That level of communication makes me feel much more comfortable and confident in the care my dog receives. The entire staff—not just the doctors—is amazing. Everyone is welcoming, compassionate, and great at answering questions. I can’t recommend them enough!

This place has always been incredibly welcoming and nice to me and my family. ​They take absolutely amazing care of our pets every single time we walk through the door. On top of their top-notch medical care, the staff has great energy and excellent boundary control—they even know how to keep the neighborhood "Karens" separated and in check when they come through! ​I truly believe that everyone here genuinely loves and cares about animals. I cannot say enough good things about Vista Vet Animal Hospital & Pet Lodge! I trust them completely with my entire pet family, which includes my five cats and two dogs. Managing a large pet household can be chaotic, but the team here always makes our visits seamless and stress-free. Our sweet 12 year old pittie went in for a dental cleaning and also to have a growth removed. This was our first time at Vista Vet and they took the best care of our girl. After a thorough exam, Dr. Lanier walked us through her recommendations and the procedure answering all our questions.They gave us updates from start to finish and called the next day to see how she was doing. Our girl did well during surgery and has recovered great. Thank you Dr. Lanier and the Vista Vet staff for your excellent care.

VistaVet always takes such great care of my dog, Quinn. She's a big girl, but she gets scared. They are always so nice and gentle with her for exams, care, and especially things like shots. Dr. Nimmo and Dr. Roach are always very thorough in examining her and are great about following up as well. All the assistants and staff are kind and helpful.

This was the first veterinary clinic we visited after moving to Texas. They were incredibly kind and provided truly personalized care for our senior, large-breed dog. The vet sat on the floor to meet our dog at eye level and examined her with such warm and gentle hands. Watching the care and respect they showed our dog was genuinely touching.

We love Vista Vet! Everyone from the ladies at reception, to the vet technicians and the veterinarians and phenomenal. They are professional, kind and actually listen to our concerns. Our pup is always nervous with being at the vet but they help her by being patient and kind and do not try to push medication on us for her. We had a scare a few months ago with a growth on her foreleg and they were quick to get us seen and the surgery done that same day, and would call to check in on her throughout her 2 week recovery. Cannot say enough good things about this clinic, and we will be bringing our furbaby here for as long as Vista Vet is there!
