I'm thankful to have a high quality 24/7 ER vet in Riverview. Staff were excellent, including receptionist, nurse, and doctor. Prices were explained before treatment. The location is convenient on 301. Office interior is clean, professional, and smells good. The exam room had a low couch for waiting, which was a thoughtful touch so my dog, who was in pain, was able to get on it and snuggle beside me as we waited. Highly recommend.
When our cat Lucy had a sudden medical emergency, we rushed her in late at night, terrified and hoping for a miracle. Sadly, she did not make it, but I will always be grateful for the incredible care, compassion, and professionalism the entire team showed us during one of the hardest moments for our family. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated Lucy with urgency and kindness, and they kept us informed every step of the way. They explained what was happening, answered our questions with patience, and truly did everything in their power to help her. Even though the outcome wasn’t what we prayed for, I felt she was treated with dignity and love the whole time. What meant even more was the thoughtful follow-up we received the sweetest sympathy card at our home, signed by a staff member who was there that night. That level of compassion goes far beyond medical care and meant so much to us while grieving. I wish we had met under different circumstances, but I am deeply thankful they were there for Lucy and for us. I will forever be grateful for their kindness and would absolutely trust them with any pet in an emergency.
I don’t even know where to begin. Our family, Kaido, was suffering from a severe urinary blockage and was truly beyond the point of no return. We were facing the kind of moment no pet parent is ever ready for… the possibility of losing someone who is family. From the moment we walked into the ER, the staff didn’t just treat Kaido like a patient…they treated him like he mattered. Like his life was worth fighting for. Their kindness wasn’t clinical. It was human. They spoke to us with compassion during one of the most terrifying moments of our lives. They cared for Kaido with gentleness, urgency, and genuine emotion. You could feel that they wanted him to live. not because it was their job, but because they truly cared. And because of them… he did. They didn’t just stabilize him. They didn’t just treat him. They saved his life. We walked in fearing goodbye, and we walked out with hope. Thank you for your skill. Thank you for your kindness. Thank you for your empathy. And thank you for giving Kaido another chance to be here with us. You didn’t just save a cat. You saved our family. Thank you so much DR Ferry, DR Odom, Noah, Alyssa, ray, and EVERONE who was involved with saving my angel. Thank you THANK YOU
The staff was professional, courteous, and genuinely caring. They took the time to explain all available options, including the more difficult ones to consider as a loving pet owner, and did so with compassion and understanding. We needed urgent care over the weekend, and we’re truly grateful they were open and able to help our pet when it mattered most.
I would like to express my gratitude for the staff at Beacon for the amazing work they do. On Sunday May 24th I brought in Poppy after she was struggling to walk straight and was excessively panting, as soon as I walked in the door they took her to the back to get her started on fluids and check her out. They were incredibly kind and asked thorough questions to figure out what could be the issue. After finding out she had puppies everything moved quickly after that, the vet was able to give me a clear explanation and instructions on what to do once we were home. While Poppy had to stay a bit longer they even provided puppy formula that I could feed her babies while she was away. I truly believe they went above and beyond with their kindness and their treatment of the situation. I would recommend Beacon for anyone going through an emergency with their pet. Thank you.
I have to go to here 3 times and 2 in the last week and every time has been a great experience. I recently had to make the tough decision to say goodbye to my cat, Ruby due to cancer and as hard as it was… the staff really made it as easy as possible. They are very caring and empathetic as well as up front and honest. They even sent me a card after she passed with notes of condolences. They helped my frenchie with pneumonia and he is on the mend! Very thankful to have this emergency hospital so close to home. They are pricey so be careful but I would definitely recommend if you are in a bind and need some place truth worthy.
We cannot thank the team at Beacon Animal ER enough for the incredible care they gave our sweet Brutus after he severely injured his leg and paw. From the moment we walked in, they handled him with such compassion and gentleness during a very stressful time. The doctors and staff thoroughly explained the risks and options for every decision we needed to make, making sure we felt informed and supported. They kept us updated every step of the way, which meant so much to us. They even had us bring him back 24 hours later to check on him and rewrap his paw, continuing to show the same level of attentiveness and care. They truly went above and beyond — not only taking care of us as worried pet parents, but more importantly, taking exceptional care of our sweet boy. We are so grateful. Thank you for everything you do. 💙
