Richman Animal Clinic

I was recently at the vet with my dog Maya who is a chihuahua. I always enjoy coming to the office and being greeted with their beautiful cats and friendly staff. They take their time to answer all your questions. I always believe that my dog is in the best of care as they provide the best services for her. I would recommend Richmond animal clinic to anyone I love them.

Truly the best animal clinic! They take such great care of my 2 dogs and 2 cats. Dr. Pawling is very thorough and has the best interest in mind of the animal and the owner. His staff are very friendly, as well. We wouldn't go anywhere else!

my dog has been to the clinic before to receive his shots and my mom thinks highly of this clinic. Just recently i brought my dog to be seen and they refused him even though they say they offer emergency service on the website at the clinic and he has been there before. it was a big inconvenience and total let down to be turned away from a clinic that my dog has been before

Top notch vet service here. First off, I've never had to wait too long to get my goldens in. Before coming here, we were going to Banfield and to get an appointment, you'd usually have to wait a month or two to get in, which if there is an issue you want to have looked at, just isn't acceptable. Richman, always has worked with me to get my dogs in ASAP. The staff here is also great. They take great care of your animals from the moment you step in to when you step out. Thorough check-ups and a comprehensive set of services are available depending on what you want done. Lastly, prices are very reasonable. Again, compared to Banfield, where I was paying a monthly rate and still had to pay up for visits, here, none of that. I had a round of vaccines applied, blood work taken, and physical exams for my two dogs and the price came in way under what I was expecting. Overall, great place to take your animals, I don't think you'd regret it if you're not already a client.

I recently visited Richman with two of my pups. Their normal vet (Dr. Pawley) was not in so we did not get a chance to meet him. However, the vet that was filling in (Dr. Van Kan) was wonderful! She was very thorough and answered every question I had. And when I had questions outside of our visit and called, I was called back with an answer within a timely manner. The entire team here is very compassionate and were very understanding and gentle with one of my pups who is extremely anxious in these kind of environments and around people she doesn’t know. They took their time with her and babied her like she was one of their own. By the end of our visit my pup warmed up and gained a great amount of confidence and trust. We will now be using them as our primary in the future & I truly look forward to our visits! It’s really hard to find a clinic that has the animal’s best interest in mind, but Richman is exactly that. You can tell that they really care about every animal that is brought in. 10/10 recommend!

I always feel we are in the best of hands. Everyone I have ever interacted with in this practice has been professional and knowledgeable and they are exceptionally kind and caring. I would never take my babies anywhere else.
