Desert Veterinary Clinic

I have been going to Desert Vet for a few years and wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else. The care and compassion that go into each visit are truly unparalleled. I’m a bit of an overreactor, but Dr. Kirby has accommodated every need my pets or I have ever had, and she has never once made me feel crazy (even though I probably was, haha). She takes such great care of my pups, always making sure they are comfortable and never stressed. A year ago, one of the worst days of my life came in the form of needing to put down our sweet cat. There is no way in the world I would have been able to come out on the other side of that experience if it hadn’t been for Dr. Kirby. She made sure that my wife and I could be there with our sweet baby through it all, and she knew exactly when to offer condolences and when to give us space. Afterwards, she went above and beyond to make keepsakes for us that we now have hanging on our walls at home. All in all, Desert Vet is the only place our fur babies will ever go, and I am so grateful that we never have to dread an interaction with Dr. Kirby.

I am so thankful for all the wonderful people that work here and Dr.Lank. I took my senior boy to get a dental cleaning and extractions. The team was so kind and thorough, he’s recovered so well and is visibly much more comfortable. When he was awake from anesthesia, they called and let me know he was up and that a vet tech was holding him through his recovery - it made me feel so happy that he was so well taken care of! Highly recommend!

I started taking my dog to this clinic when it opened many years ago. When Dr Nelson came I took my dog to him and have enjoyed his caring and gentle nature for all 6 of my dogs over the years. I’m fortunate that all of my babies have lived to be 15 yrs old. And now we have a 4 yr old little sweetie. Dr Nelson has been an important part of our dog life for so long and I really hate to see him go. But I hope he has a great retirement and enjoys his family. We will miss him.

It was time to say goodbye to one of our dogs. They were awesome here for that. There was no rush they gave you a home style setting and the people that work there we're awesome very kind and very considerate. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody if it was time for end of life for your animals.

Dr. Thomè and the entire staff here are hands down, the best. Our little nugget was diagnosed with a rare blood disorder and frankly, with her diligence and partnership we wouldn’t have caught it at all. Her intuition led to testing, finding the issue, helping us get into specialty medicine and she continues to help us manage her condition with the specialist. We couldn’t be more thankful for this crew that treats our beloved fur babies as their own.

My dog always gets stellar care at Desert Vet Clinic. Dr. Nelson is very thorough and explained my dogs condition in great detail. My former veterinarian office was over priced and I always felt like I was ‘skimping’ on the care of my pets by refusing the upsell care. I highly recommend Desert Vet Clinic for your pets.

Been thru several vets during our 20 years here. They've always be upfront regarding treatments, costs and likely outcomes. They are very gentle with my 18+ year old cat. I do recommend them.
