Canyon Creek Animal Clinic, A Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner

The Canyon Creek Doctors, techs and staff are incredible!! HUGE win yesterday after finally getting my dogs nails clipped!! Our dog is very anxious in general but the nails may be #1 on his list. Many tried and failed. What made Canyon Creek different? They tried, saw what worked and what didn't and came up with a plan that was right for our dog. Have to call out the two amazingly patient techs, Abby and [brown hair with glasses - sorry :)]. Highly recommend!!

I adopted my first-ever pet about a month ago, and I chose Canyon Creek as our vet due to the location and the great reviews. I couldn’t possibly recommend them enough. They have been an absolute godsend. Almost immediately after adopting my cat, she started having unusual symptoms. Dr. Westra and his team discovered a paw infection and an ear infection, which they promptly identified and cured. I was so worried and stressed, but Canyon Creek couldn’t have been more compassionate. They answered my messages promptly, squeezed us in for appointments, and patiently answered every question in great detail. Dr. Westra has incredible bedside manner for stressed newbie cat owners like myself, LOL! I truly trust him because he always helped us avoid extra expenses wherever possible. He was always 100% honest with us too, even if he knew the news wasn’t what I was hoping to hear. My cat is SO much happier now, and it’s amazing to see how her demeanor has changed now that she’s feeling better. I definitely feel like we chose the perfect vet. My cat actually seems to enjoy being there because the staff is incredibly sweet and gives her so much love.❤️ 10/10 recommend Canyon Creek, especially Dr. Westra!!

This will be my furbaby's new veterinary clinic. Dr Farrell is amazing with my dog and I'm sure all animals, and very knowledgeable about what's best for her health. The entire staff in which I've so far met have all been so nice and helpful. So glad I came for a 2nd opinion and will definitely be back!!! Thank you guys 😊

They deserve more than 5 stars. They always answer and ask if it is alright to put you on hold. The day I was put on hold and hung up, they called me back pretty quickly. We have appreciated the loving care for our dog and for us by each of the doctors we have seen. Each has been attune to our concerns and addressed them kindly. There was a medication we were debating adding, so Dr Westra put a note in our file so that when we decided we wanted to add the medication, we didn't have to wait for approval. Our new vet in another state had me on hold for 15 minutes one day, 10 another, never answering. It took 3 and a half days to get an pre-approved medication approved officially for a prescription even though the vet was in office at least two of those days. Canyon Creek is one of the best vet clinics around for caring people in every position and timely response to any concern. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I started coming here after getting a Great Dane puppy. The first vet we saw was great, seemed knowledgeable enough about large breed dogs. The front office staff is always friendly and helpful. What really set this clinic apart from others we have been too is Dr. Ferrell, hands down. My big guy got demodectic mange, and not only did she give us such great advice on how to treat, products to use and even articles to read about it but she has continued to follow up with us over the last few months checking on him and how he is doing and continues to offer her expert knowledge going forward. Her compassion and guidance are felt and greatly appreciated. Love this clinic, highly recommend! Wonderful experience with this clinic. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful with everything needed regarding our cats care as we had to recently make the very difficult decision of putting her down due to terminal cancer and old age. The staff as well as Dr. Carmen helped us every step of the way and answered our questions and concerns about the process which made things a lot easier for both us and our cat, and it truly gave us the comfort we needed knowing our baby was in good hands as she crossed the rainbow bridge.

I came to Canyon Creek for Dr. Montes who recently started there from another clinic. When I came, I didn’t know that it would be the last few vet visits of my beloved Waylon’s life as he was diagnosed with osteosarcoma on our second visit. Dr. Montes had been his vet for the last 5 years and I knew he was in the perfect hands with her but what I didn’t know and was so pleasantly surprised by was the care and attention the rest of the staff had for us, even in those few visits. From Susanna at the front desk, to Aubrie who was in the room with us on that last morning and was loving on my boy as if she had known him his whole life, to our beloved Dr. Montes, our experience couldn’t have been better. I highly recommend Canyon Creek to anyone who loves their pet beyond words because they will honor that and love them too. And as soon as my Waylon sends me his next pack member from across the rainbow bridge, they will have a new patient and see me again.
