We’ve been going to companion animal Hospital of Wakefield for many years now, and the vets are fabulous. It is not inexpensive, but you know that your fur baby is going to be treated with the best care possible. I would strongly suggest that if you’re looking for an animal hospital try this one out you will be very pleased and you’ll feel like you’re in a place it’s not normal for businesses in this day and time. We are so fortunate to have this veterinary team in the Raleigh area. Recently, my cat underwent a dental cleaning that required two tooth extractions, and the care we received was exceptional. The staff kept me informed throughout the process, answered all my questions, and treated my cat with genuine compassion and professionalism. The procedure went smoothly, and my cat recovered beautifully. I am incredibly grateful for their expertise and kindness. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for outstanding veterinary care.

They thoughtfully hire team members who share their mission: to keep pet owners informed and always act in the best interest of the animals. Wake Forest is lucky to have them. Tango will surely miss their love and attention. And the pepperoni treats!

I used to drive from Wake Forest to Clayton for my pets (I saw Dr. Bagley, IYKYK), and when he retired, I was nervous about finding a new vet when I adopted my dog a few years ago. Thankfully, a friend referred me to Companion, and I’m beyond grateful to have found a new care team that reminds me of what I loved so much about my old vet. Our tech remembered that I had brought berries as treats for my dog last year, which was really impressive! Dr. Mullin was also excellent, and I think she makes a wonderful addition to the team! She actually reminds me a lot of my old vet, so I very quickly felt at ease. The follow up the day after our appointment was great too, Dr. Mullin called herself to make sure everything was going well, and gave a thorough breakdown of what options I could reach for if my dog’s stomach upset didn’t resolve in a reasonable time. My dog had to be fully sedated because, while he’s the absolute sweetest, he has some "stranger danger" and dog reactivity, and I was initially a bit nervous about how well that would go, and the process was quick and easy, aside from him being so zonked that he had to be carried out of the car in his backseat car hammock. But considering he loves car rides, laying in his hammock made sense for him! Thank you again to the team, Enzo and I appreciate you so much!

Companion Animal Hospital was truly there for our pup when we needed them most. After an ER vet visit over the weekend, we learned that he needed surgery, and they were able to get us in right away on Monday. Dr. Chris and the entire staff kept us updated throughout the process, especially as the surgery became more critical than originally anticipated. During a very stressful time, we felt confident knowing our pup was in such caring and capable hands. We are so grateful for the compassion, communication, and excellent care they provided. Most importantly, our pup is now on the mend. Highly recommend Companion Animal Hospital.

Samantha is the best- I love how she gets on the floor with the pets to make sure they are comfortable. She is awesome and made this surgery experience as easy as ever! From the first impression at the front desk, to the vets and vet techs themselves- you all have the best staff and service. Thank you all for taking care of my son! (cat)

I have been very impressed with the professionalism, the knowledge, and the kindness of all of the employees at Companion Animal hospital from the front desk, vet techs and vets. The vets are great at explaining things and do a thorough work up on all of my animals for their annual checkups. They are always willing and flexible to see my animals if there is a problem. I can’t say enough good things about this practice and the care my animals get there. I have 5 dogs and 3 cats so I spend a lot of time there. I would definitely recommend any of the vets in this practice.
