Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital

My 16 month old dog has been coming here since a puppy. We’ve boarded and she recently came here for a sick appointment (stomach issues) and she received an exam, blood work, IV of fluids and a few medications. She was seen in a very timely manner. Prices are very reasonable and transparent. Staff is friendly and cares about the animals.

Christine the front desk worker was great! My dog absolutely loves her. She helped me schedule a post call and was very reassuring about getting back to me. A very sweet person to talk to and very good with animals. Consistently prioritizing my needs and making me feel like bayleaf is working with my best interests. Seriously give her some credit if you haven’t she is great and I wanted to write this review to tell everybody there how great she made my experience. Dr. Flouride (apologies if that’s not how you spell it) was also extremely nice and very professional. Props to him as well. Bayleaf has been my go to vet for a long time and god I just had such a great experience I needed to write a review.

Dr. Highsmith is incredible! She is always attentive and explains conditions thoroughly. Additionally, there is not high pressure to perform high cost diagnostics if conservative treatment is available to start. I’ve not had a negative experience with any staff remember.

The best. Dr. Burke, Dr. Moledo. The vet techs. The staff. The best. The very very best. I've had many animals in my life and have seen many vets in my life. All have been pretty darn wonderful. Some vets cried with me when we put animals down. It is not an easy profession. But they are passionate and deserve everything. Bayleaf is the best in my opinion. The absolute best.

(Written for my mother, Jacki, who does not have a Google account) Dr. Moledo has always been the kindest, most compassionate vet. Our cat is like my child and he always treated me with such empathy and I was able to have an extra year and a half with her with his care. I cannot recommend him enough and will definitely be bringing any future pets to him. I have been in Raleigh for 30 years and have had many pets in that time, and have worked with multiple vet offices. Dr. Moledo and Bayleaf as a whole has been the best in the area.

Bayleaf Veterinary Hospital is an amazing clinic. What sets them apart is their empathy; they genuinely care about how you are doing as a pet owner. They are patient, willing to listen during stressful times, and I never feel like just another appointment on a schedule. They have been particularly kind and supportive of the dogs in our rescue program, providing thorough, high-quality medical care every single time. It is a relief to have a vet team that cares this much especial about rescue dogs.
