Providence River Animal Hospital

It was my first time visiting Providence River Animal Hospital, and from the moment I walked in, I truly felt like part of their family. The doctors and technicians were incredibly thorough, attentive, and so warm—they had the sweetest interactions with my fur babies and made the entire experience feel calm and reassuring. It’s clear they genuinely care about both pets and their owners, and that kind of compassion is hard to find. I left feeling confident, supported, and grateful to have found such an amazing team—I wouldn’t trust my pets anywhere else.

I can't say enough about this place. I brought my son's cat Willow in to be seen. My son is on the autism spectrum, and Willow is his best friend. Unfortunately, Willow is 14 and not spayed. She has probable Pyometra and spaying her is the only treatment. Dr. Stark has been going above and beyond to find low cost spay options for Willow. They truly care about her, and my son. I will bring all of my animals here from now on.

I love the staff & doctors at PRAH!! They take such good care of my cats and are always kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. I especially appreciate Amy (vet tech), who has been with my cats during each visit and is always happy to answer any questions!! I love that I can call or text with questions — the staff are extremely responsive. Thank you, Providence River Animal Hospital!

Super kind and knowledgeable staff. Miles is awesome and he helped clean up our cat’s accident. The veterinarian was super quick with two shots in one, I don’t think Salmon even noticed then it was over. She offered solutions like a slow feeder and treat puzzles to help our cat with fast feeding. We love PRAH and highly recommend!

The staff was so nice and welcoming. The tech and the doctor that came in the room were amazing. My dog is 9 and not the best at the vet, they made her comfortable and were so loving and understanding. 10/10

I love everything about PRAH. My older dog passed in their care and my new puppy is off to a good start there. This is a place where the good vibes start upon entering and speaking with one of the receptionists and carry right through to the prelim check-in with the vet tech and the appointment with the veterinarian. High praise all around for their warm welcome, professional expertise and super-clean facility! A+++

Ketchup and I are big fans of this vet. He is nervous around strangers and reactive towards other dogs, and hey have been great about slow introductions, lobby maneuvering, fast vaccines, etc. When issues have come up, they were easy to get a hold of and helpful over the phone. Parking is easy and the bakery nearby is a perfect second stop.
