Our experience with Port City has been exceptional. From check-in to check-out, the entire process was efficient and seamless. Most importantly, the team genuinely cares about both their patients and the people who love them. Throughout our dog's treatment, we received clear, transparent communication delivered with compassion and empathy. They not only saved my dog's life but also restored his quality of life. For that, I will be forever grateful. Thank you to everyone at Port City for the incredible care and support you provided during such a difficult time.

I unfortunately had to put my life long kitty down after 17 years together, and it was one of the most awful days of my life. what i can say is i felt cared for, comfortable being emotional, and was given facts in a manner that were kind, but straightforward. the doctor who helped us was incredibly sensible and calm, making the experience as pleasant as it could have possibly been given the circumstances. the nurses who did the initial evaluation and the nurse who brought her into the euthanasia room handled my baby with so much care. thank you.

Our 6MO Great Dane, Sadie, recently had severe pneumonia after being boarded. We were advised by our veterinarian to bring Sadie to Port City and I am so glad we did. The staff is wonderful - knowledgeable, friendly, and transparent. Sadie was given treatment immediately and we were able to bring her home the next day. She’s doing wonderful now and I attribute that to the staff at Port City.

Brought our French bulldog in with neck pain and not eating/drinking for 2 days and had a positive experience. Staff was super nice and very informative. They took care of our little girl and got her feeling better. Port City achieved what our regular vet could not.

It’s rarely a good reason to have your pet need to see a neurologist. From the second I walked in the entire staff was incredibly pleasant and the environment was wonderful. Every single staff member I came into contact with was so compassionate and kind. We saw Dr.Riggs and she was patient and kind with me as I was a worried mess. This is not my first visit at port city and they continue to amaze me and will keep driving the hour and half because they are nothing short of amazing. We are so lucky to have an animal hospital as incredible as this one.

I HIGHLY recommend you bring your pet(s) here. This Veterinary hospital is amazing, from the Vet doctors to staff, they are so attentive to your needs and care. The staff at the front desk are so professional and kind and acknowledge you and your pet right away. The customer service is just superb, and I have never found this elsewhere. They were attentive to the needs of my pet, knowledgeable, had a plan in place within minutes and were able to take my dog that day. They followed up timely and even sent me a photo of my dog during recovery. If you need Nuerology for your pet, Dr. Riggs is the BEST Neurologist out there!! Thank you Port City Vet!!!

We brought our Golden in on Saturday night after he ate sourdough bread dough. From our first phone call to walking out the door, the experience was as positive as it could be. The love they have for animals is obvious, and their enthusiasm for our special boy made a tough situation better. The Vet and all staff were great at explaining options and reasons for their recommendations, as well as costs. This is why we always come here any time our boy or our cats need after hours or emergency care. Beautiful, sparkling clean facility also.
