Dr Z and his staff are caring, responsive, professional, and skilled. They take great care of my dog. I highly recommend this vet office.

I am a 10+ year customer of Burlingame vet clinic and have had remarkably positive experiences with them due to the care and respect they show for me and my pet. The reason I come back and continue to recommend them is because they take the time to explain complex medical issues in an easy to understand way. They will lay out a spectrum of treatment options from most to conservative to most aggressive and help us make the right choice for our needs. I appreciate they will always take time to lay out the costs of each path for me before I make a decision about how to proceed. They are not a chain vet, and their pricing is reflective of the hands on care they provide. They prioritize animal safety which sometimes means requiring bloodwork or other testing before big procedures like teeth cleaning. We are lucky to be able to afford this excellent level of care, but their high quality work is reflected in every interaction with staff and I feel confident my dog is safe in their care.

I brought my 6 year old golden retriever in for his first visit with Burlingame and we were both really pleased with our experience! Every single staff person we interacted with was kind and took time to answer questions. We got really honest input on what additional tests and services we needed and what we didn't. I felt like they truly cared about providing appropriate care and weren't trying to tack on expensive "extras".

Dr. Z and his staff are amazing. They are all so kind and calm with the pets (and their owners). My husband and I recently adopted a stray kitty and took her to Burlingame Vet for her first exam and they were so patient and gentle and gave us great advice. It feels great to know that our pets get such good care from kind people. It's not cheap to properly care for our pets these days, but I feel confident in Burlingame Verts work and my kitties are worth it!

We have been coming here since 2013 and have brought 7 dogs through their doors at various stages of life and health. The care is excellent. The people are wonderful. We will not take our pets anywhere else.

Dr Z was a thoughtful and compassionate vet who took the time to really listen to all the symptoms and tried to exhaust all options to help my pet. I have dealt with upwards of 10-15 vets in various places and he would be my first choice on whom to trust my pet with. His clinic's staff are friendly and welcoming, while maintaining what I believe to be the most affordable care in the area.

We have been going to Burlingame Vet for over 4 years now and they took wonderful care of our senior dog before we had to say goodbye and they have done an amazing job with our 5 month old kittens, one of which has FIP and was so close to death only 4 weeks ago it’s unbelievable. They had no experience with FIP until us and they have been wonderfully supportive and done so much research and learning about the disease and treatment just to take care of Miss Beatrice. Every single staff member is so kind and helpful. They may not be the cheapest option in town, but they provide amazing service and I’ve always felt our animals are in great hands. We are very grateful for the team at Burlingame Vet!
