I had a fabulous experience with Dr Walker and her clinic, and have definitely found our vet! We have a senior pup who is not good with strangers and the entire staff was understanding, kind, and accommodating to make the visit as easy as possible. Pricing was upfront and clear. I really appreciated the extra care they took with us. Special thank you to Lacey for all her scheduling help, Emma for her kind vet tech work, and of course Dr Walker for her expertise and understanding. We will be back!

Best Friends was a saving grace to my elderly cat. The last vet wasn’t helpful and said he couldn’t help me because my cat was too old and that he would die soon. I received such educated and compassionate care from the Best Friends team! (and I was so happy to see there is a dog part of the building and a cat side). I received the best and worst case scenarios for him, and a full breakdown of the recommended treatment. I received a very optimistic view that he had more years left in him. He is pretty delicate right now so I was thrilled to hear that! The doctor even said she went through the very same thing with her cat. That’s all I needed to hear. Very happy to have found this place in a centrally located place (almost in downtown). If you need a vet that truly cares, Best Friends is the place.

My dog had a critical problem causing pain in her mouth, and - as we all know - we just want the pain to go away now. The staff at BFVMC arranged for my companion to receive an appointment the same day! The veterinarian, Dr. Walker, was able to calm her and attend to the cause of the pain, post haste; and a great big grin from the patient was immediate proof of 100% success with the procedure.

Dr. Walker is a very skilled, patient and kind veterinarian. I feel so fortunate that she is treating my rescue dog who has some challenging behaviors resulting from her fear and anxiety. Dr. Walker has carefully prescribed appropriate medication prior to our appointments, but more importantly she has far exceeded my expectations in the patient, sensitive, and compassionate way she has treated my dog.

Dr. Walker and her team are awesome. They have helped me turn my cats health around in about 6 months time, which is amazing. He has heart disease, asthma and hyperthyroidism and despite all of that, is in wonderful health thanks to Best Friends!

I walked in for an emergency appointment after my dog, Teddy, was bitten by another dog in the area. Dr. Walker and her vet technicians very kindly stayed late almost an hour after closing to make sure that he was examined before we got stuck in an impending ice storm. Everyone I interacted with was very compassionate and kind. I left with a treatment plan, medication, and feeling that Teddy was going to be okay. I am very grateful to Dr. Walker and her whole team.

So far everytime I have come in the past year and a half everyone here has been very kind and accommodating. I forgot our vets name but she is really great at explaining things and so good with my dog Mo. All the vet techs are also great with my dog and always tell him how pretty he is. And finally I really appreciate that the staff breaks down my receipt before I pay. Thanks guys!
