Cats Preferred Veterinary Hospital

We have taken both of our cats here for around ten years and wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Both of our cats adopt the horror movie screech at the vet and Cats Preferred has worked with them so well and been very attentive and knowledgeable. They were very nice and supportive with end of life care for our now-departed cat. They are never judgemental or mean and provide many options of varying price ranges, knowing that unfortunately plays a role for most of us. We drive from 40 minutes away because we wouldn't imagine going anywhere else.

Vet visits are stressful for my cat (and for me!) but I've had really good experiences here. The vets and staff are competent, kind, and understanding. Compared to other places, it's easy to get an appointment (or get someone on the line to ask a question), which is important. The facility/reception area is calm and quiet, and waiting time was reasonable. Prices are fair and options well-explained. There are other nice touches, like the use of Feliway-ed towels and post-appointment follow-up calls.

So purrfessional! Fast and super polite. Working with cats preferred has given me relief knowing my kitty will be thoroughly looked at and cared for with gentle but firm hands.

The staff is very knowledgeable, gentle, patient and listened to my concerns, but most importantly they show genuine compassion towards my cats and you can tell they really love what they do & love cats! I have been coming here for many years and wouldn’t consider going anywhere else! Thank you to the staff at Cats Preferred - you have always been there for both me and my babies!

I have brought my cats here for years and wouldn’t trust any other vet. They are so kind, patient, knowledgeable, and most importantly treat your kitty like their own! They are up front with costs and don’t suggest unnecessary testing for their own benefits. I love that they have an option for evening appointments one day a week and are open Saturday mornings. Any time I am feeling stressed or overwhelmed with a sick kitty, they have been so helpful in calming me with honesty and compassion. Everyone there, from the receptionist to the vet techs to the vets, are wonderful people. It can be a very overwhelming feeling when you have a sick pet, and they do everything they can to make the experience easier on you AND your fur baby! I highly recommend Cats Preferred!

The biggest thing for me was no one made me feel rushed. My cat is not the first cat to ever have vomiting issues, but every person from the woman at the front desk to the tech to the vet - everyone made me feel comfortable to take the time to ask questions and clarify information. I know that if everyone there is willing to give me and my cat the time for care instead of rushing to the next patient, they'll do the same for others.
